  • The speed limt there in 66 there is 70 MPH how fast do you really want to drive? They have never touched me for 75-77 and I just set the cruise and roll or find a rabbit who wants to drive 80-85+ and let him flush out all the bears.

  • Is the Redline really "undetectable?" I got pulled over in VA with my Valentine 1 last weekend. Cop let me off with a warning, don't know why, didn't ask. He took my V1 to his car, did something, then gave it back. What did he do? I need a Redline. Rather get caught with a detector than a speeding ticket.

  • @coachpharmacistjoe Yes, it is undetectable it's the only RD I use when running through VA. He took your RD back to his car to record the serial number. It must have really been your lucky day getting a warning in VA.

  • @rockyb8663 Thanks! Well, I had a pistol in my glove compartment. I told him twice about it. He didn't care. Didn't want to see my CHL permit. He just wanted the registration. Kinda weird. "Ah, the permit please, don't grab the gun." LOL! No, he didn't say that, but it was implied. So maybe he liked the fact that I was honest and humble. That and I have a P90X bumper sticker, HAHA!

  • @rockyb8663 P.S. Selling my V1 on Ebay, getting a Redline or a 9500ix. What do you think? I'll use it primarily on highways. I like the GPS features on the 9500ix. Is the 9500ix immune to RDD's? I'm reading the Passport 9500ci and Redline are. Note the letter difference.

  • @coachpharmacistjoe Oh wait, the ci is crazy expensive, guess I'm getting a Redline, LOL!

  • @coachpharmacistjoe No the 9500ix will get you owned. I tested one against a older Spectre 2 a couple years ago and picked it up from 1200 feet away. They all use Spectre 4's now which are even more sensitive. I would get the Redline with Escort Live, so you can lockout the falses still but are immune to the Spectre. The 9500ci is also undetectable and has great range but cost a ton and is expensive to install.

  • Agreed Vargina is the worst state I've ever been thru. My wife actually got a $250+ ticket for having a radar detector even tho she was obeying the speed limit and vehicles were flying by her. Now which is the bigger danger to safety? The vehicle going the speed limit with a detector or the vehicle that turned their's off doing 85+?

  • Commonweath state.

  • You people who drive cars dont know who easy you have it. In VA,if a cop gets you going 2MPH over the limit. They will write you a ticket for that and then do their very best to find something else to give you a ticket for. VA cops are some of the dirtiest cops in the US with CA being the absolute worst. In CA,it's a state wide 55 MPH limit for semis. No matter if your in down town LA or out in the middle of the desert! They will nail you to the wall if they clock you going anything over the limit

  • If I move back to the east coast, I'll have my 9500ci and Redline to put in my wife's car......no tickets by VASP. And I'll have a laser jammer installed in her car. Stupid reckless driving law in Virginia....over 80mph or 20 + over....fucking Bull shit, $1,500 fine and a misdemeanor on your record. Screw Virginia!

  • @MrHotroddoc um, the 9500ci already has a jammer. . .just saying.

  • @metry68 yeah but they don't work like a LI or Blinder system. I just use the radar and gps.

  • I live in VA and own a STI Driver and the State uses Ka band while K bands are still use by a lot of smaller PDs. The police here assume no one has RD and usually if their trying to catch speeders leaves them on duh!! I usually picks them up way before they see me. Most people don't know if your caught going 20 miles over the speed limit it's a $1,000 fine (NO JOKE), but I believe that is for VA residents

  • so what if its illegal in va you asholes. look at the clown ass hiding. they always hide in VA thinking they are slick escorts eat em up all day.

  • @mica122213 I agree, they have the most retarded traffic laws in the state of VA. Anything over 80 mph on the highway is reckless driving and a misdemeanor, RD's are illegal, laser jammers illegal, etc. I take great pleasure in owning a few of their B.S. speed traps.

  • @rockyb8663 you complain too much

  • @mica122213 nice I say protection is an investment why pay when you dont have too. Thats like saying I want to protect myself but I need a gun if you paid for it and the situation occurs for whatever reason where I have to defend myself im gonna use it fuck it.

  • @mica122213 +1

  • Nice, although I still can't believe it is illegal in VA to have a radar detector. Total bs.

  • they hide behind bushes and signs in giles county too. you'd think giles county was the crime capital of the state with all the cops there are.

  • Now we know that VA doesn't use X band.

  • @NintendoMario246 Some of the town cops still do....

  • We must put this in terms a girl from Cali can understand .Some people use radar detectors because they don't like the taste of bacon. People that dont have radar usually end up with the taste of bacon in their mouths and a sore throat. And if your a hot Girl from Cali this is a good thing since its no carbs. we use Jammers because we don't like taking it from behind with laser tickets. But if your a sweet young thang a sticky bottom and no ticket is a Win .

  • Like, OH My Gawd! Gag me with a spoon. Dude that is so illegal a radar detector in VA? Besides everyone knows the best Radar Detector is a COBRA!!!! COOOBBBBRRRAAAAA!!!!!!. Yous should move to California its so laid back and the funerals are cheaper .

  • @jedi69outcast LOL, The Redline has saved me so much money from not getting tickets, and having cheap car insurance that I can afford a really nice funeral !!!

  • Comment removed

  • @jedi69outcast It's a $100 fine for having or using a radar detector in Virginia. The comonwealth of Virginia is a known state for speedtraps to raise money. Has little to do with public safety. The COBRA is a piece of crap and anyone that knows anything about radar detectors you buy at Target or Walmart knows that. The COBRA ialso is detectable where the Redline is 100% invisible to the radar detector detectors. Only a fool would use a COBRA in Virginia.

  • @141ZED I see the truth in this .K40 IS THE WAY TO GO.

i KID show me the Arrows or go home Yes Im a Zombie

  • @jedi69outcast i use a cobra radar detector as my door stop in my house they suck all false alerts of cobra radar detectors

  • @jedi69outcast Saying Cobra is the best is like saying: public school > private, CA's economy is in the black, or better yet, you're intelligent.

  • that's ok it's cheaper to scrape remains off the road than to spend gas trying to keep y'all safe from your own idiocy. Go ahead speed; Just make sure your family has arrangements made - funerals are expensive.

  • @californigirl Bwahahaha.

  • @californigirl

Hey girl, it's cheaper to just put a dick in your mouth and get in the right lane so that responsible radar detectors users can fly by you in the left lane and laugh at you.

  • @californigirl jizzy is right.. you need male reproductive organs in your mouth

    :O<==8

  • @californigirl He didn't look to driving unsafely to me at all. Everyone drives over a few MPH on these roads, just like in Cali- the radar detector just lowers your odds of being the "ticket winner" by a considerable amount. Its not for driving fast, its for driving without being harassed.

  • Nice!!!

  • Can't go wrong with the redline

  • Where was it mounted?

  • @ezridn50 I had it mounted high behind the tint strip.

  • @rockyb8663

don't get caught with that thing.....they will take it away from you....good thing you have a redline so they can't pick up the RD with the RDD.

  • @adamstrader12 Luckily I only go through VA on 77 about twice a year. If I lived their I would get a remote mounted RD like a 9500ci or STi-R.

  • No unfortunately I don't have anymore video's from VA. They had cops everywhere on 77 but this was the only one that actually hit me with radar. It happened on 77 south right before you get into Wytheville. His other friends already had customers. But I saw 6 people pulled over on 77 in that 68 miles stretch between WV and NC.

  • AWESOME! I live in VA....anymore vids from VA???? Where was that exactly?
