  • My neighbor was hot and everytime she walked out of her house I would blast the record player with this song.Yea....I got in trouble...oh well....

  • I got in trouble in '66 in kindergarten singing this song

  • some people age like a great bottle of wine! wow! he's a vintage brand! love him thanks for posting this!

  • Cr@p, it's only a song.

Some of you act as if this is your life.

Kristsakes, grow up and put down the refer/hash.

  • @SkidRowJosephine We all know the kind of person you are just by your name. You belong in Skid Row !!!!!!! Oh and the band Skid Row stinks

  • I wonder what the NAME of This song is ???

  • @Velvet4U Hanky Panky

  • Wow, I finally get to see Tommy play this live. I had always figured that Tommy used a Jaguar on this tune, his tone sounded chunky like Carl Wilson's classic Jaguar tone from the glory days of the Beach Boys.

I was impressed with how closely Tommy followed his original solo, too. Pretty much note for note. The backing band sing those backups a lot like the record too...pretty good, considering that the original band was....what? 13 years old? Great performance!

  • That was one of my two first records .... I played it for hours (at X-mas !!!) --- haha ... Admitted the words are... but the memoirs are nice. Thanks for posting. Silviiie, Austria.

  • @Rollingrockrulze What's your Problem.. .. ? Seem your the Sicko

  • Tommy is always Good

  • My first CRUSH!!! Love Tommy to this day!

  • Trying to REMEMBER the words to this song is very difficult. I bet No One here can remember the words to this song. Only Tommy can remember these words. Think of how long this song is, then you will see how difficult it is to actually remember ALL OF THE WORDS.

  • @Velvet4U I recall the words

  • @Velvet4U That's true, after all the years that I've heard this song I still don't remember!

  • 3:26 video: 1963 song "Hanky Panky" by Jeff Barry and Ellie Greenwich; 1966 #1 remake by rock group Tommy James and the Shondells. Tommy James (born 29 April 1947).

  • I'm reading his autobiography. It's good.

  • @titostacos Yeah it's one of the best rock autobiographies I've read, mainly because Tommy is completely honest about everything. He doesn't hold back facts or events or try to paint himself as a saint. In fact, Tommy is a Christian and has been free from drugs, alcohol or any mind-altering substances since the 80s. Tommy knows that it's better to be honest and inspire others to improve their lives like he has done.

  • WOW. Enough said.
