Did some research on some more economic things, and learned that the dollar has been overwhelmingly devalued, the national debt and spending is out of control, and that unemployment [when factoring everybody who really doesn't have a job right now and not on welfare] is more between 17 and 23 percent.
I keep asking why don't we just get started moving to some place with like minded people. We can't do it own our own. We could start a village with others so the work wouldn't be too much on two or three families. I have stocked up on food and water. I am also an EMT so I think I would be an excellent asset to any village.

I've been mulling over the same idea in my mind, as well. The way I see it, a return to teamwork and pooling of resources is our only hope for recovery. I mean sure, individuals can survive in a secluded homestead for quite a long time, but a village can be much more secure in the long run, and much more productive. I think having a plan to meet up with others once the smoke has cleared would be a good idea for people.

Soros has actually written about the collapses ahead of time and has made the point that there needs to be more market regulation. I think you would be more accurate to put the blame on Murdoch, a man that owns 30% of the media and has done a very good job of distracting and brainwashing the American people from the truth.

We need to prepare not with the sword but with our hearts. What happens here on earth will only be a blink of an eye compared to what will be in store for us after death. There have been people that have died a tortuous death. They knew what was coming. They didn't take up arms. Just like our Lord Jesus Christ but what a life they will live in heaven! Don't have your eyes set on what to do on earth to stay alive, for what good is it to save your life but to lose your soul?

Then, sure enough, Black Monday occurred in the markets. And they've been consistently fluctuating between gains and losses, but mostly losses. my brother, who has a major in economics, recommended what Ron Paul had to say on the matter, and sure enough he's saying identical things about what I learned. I've been stockpiling long-lasting food, water, drink mix, medical, and hygenic supplies since 7 August now.

Thanks for posting this. I have been getting ready since at least the weekend immediately following that fateful day. Did some research on some more economic things, and learned that the dollar has been overwhelmingly devalued, the national debt and spending is out of control, and that unemployment [when factoring everybody who really doesn't have a job right now and not on welfare] is more between 17 and 23 percent.

I keep asking why don't we just get started moving to some place with like minded people. We can't do it own our own. We could start a village with others so the work wouldn't be too much on two or three families. I have stocked up on food and water. I am also an EMT so I think I would be an excellent asset to any village.

Hey, angie, I've been looking for land for a while now, and is cheaper than you think.
I thought that I can never afford it but you can buy a good piece of land for less than 15,000,
by owner with low down payment and low monthly payment. Landwatch(dot)com is a great place to look.
You log in the price you want to pay and it gives you all the properties at that price in the country.
Also, there is a business that builds cabins real cheap and of good quality. You can pm me

@0304angie I believe that migration is happening. I've been talking about moving out of the city for over 20 years but haven't been able to yet. Even back then I could sense that things were not right. People used to think I was too worried over nothing. Good luck to you in the times ahead.

I've been mulling over the same idea in my mind, as well. The way I see it, a return to teamwork and pooling of resources is our only hope for recovery. I mean sure, individuals can survive in a secluded homestead for quite a long time, but a village can be much more secure in the long run, and much more productive. I think having a plan to meet up with others once the smoke has cleared would be a good idea for people.
