  • Do you have the one called 'Blowhole'? I heard it while playing the Champions League game from EA Sports and I cant seem to find it anywhere haha.

  • One of those songs that won't ever get old.

  • Class.

  • no nawet galante

  • SWEET BEAT then changes ....awesome

  • The song literally evolves as it goes on.

    Amazing.

  • The Dalak was the best part

  • Great video..wow! Love Fila Brazillia! Wonder if they're working on a new album..

  • @mlorenzetti1

Fila have split up. Check out "The Cutler" a new project a new project by 1 half of the team. Awesome!!

  • oh!

  • still relevant today -music has not dated at all

  • Best thing ever to come out of Hull, wish they still played for 3quid

  • finally got the title of this song. i 1st heard it in a dj remix set

  • I'm 15, i still like this music, i always have done. I spent all my childhood with this in the background and it's grown on me. I've never liked all the new crap out today. I wish i was older when i saw them making this music seen as i was there first hand but i can't even remember being there LOL.

  • Temazo~~

  • just beautiful

  • Blimey!!

  • F*ckin' great man!

  • JUST AWESOME!

  • viva la fila brazillia !

  • DAMN! at 1:10 when the new groove surfaces, great!

  • no lyrics?

  • Perfection needs no lyrics.

  • @monganni ..have no lyrics.

  • well said

  • Lyrics at 2:15 - Fila dont need lyrics, as they can actually create, and arrange great music, unlike most of the "famous" music producers of the world today. :-)

  • pure song ! mais un bon clip bien pérrave !

  • Ill vibes... Thanks for the post.

  • You have said it all guys.

    Respect.

  • man this takes me back, top tune

  • yeeeahhh f#ckin great man!!

  • just pure, clear and neat divine sound.

  • no words to describe it

  • Probably my fave Fila track...and this was a great 'art video' to go with it that I think was once played on Channel 4 (well, TV anyway)

  • Holy crap, I never heard this song till today. This track is pretty awesome. I can't believe it's from 1999! Don't get me wrong, I like a lot of 90's electronic, but this doesn't sound at ALL dated for something that's 10 years old. Vid is pretty cool too. Thanks for the upload.

  • You took the words right out my mouth. This track must have been well ahead of its time. The only thing that sounds 90's-ish is the pitch shifting guitar chords. Pristine vibes man, really feeling this stuff.

  • Fila Brazillia are the greatest thanks for this one!

  • i agree 100% ...the greatest ever!

  • love it.. thanks.. groovy.

  • intelligent video for intelligent music

  • Thx Ussyats for your news. I really love the Cutler's album and i know that Steve Cobby will still remain a genius in music, but Fila Brazillia will be unforgettable. David McSherry teaches at the University of Lincoln today and the reason why they seperated will remain a secret for us, but we can still enjoy Fila's sounds. Isn't that enough? :) Greetings from Germany to the Netherlands an to the UK

  • I really love Fila's sounds, it gives you an extraordinary escape to so-called 'reality'. I hope it's not really the end as announced on one of the two MySpace sites. If they do so, they will still remain as a legend in greater music history, nevermind of any genre. And Hull City promoted to premiership this year, whar more could pay tribute to the work of Steve Cobby and David McSherry. :) Sorry for my half-assed English, i'm a german...

  • What I've read about it, Steve Cobby is involved in another project called The Cutler together with Dave "Porky" Brennand.

Quote: the two are currently focusing their attention on The Cutler's upcoming debut of Cutler, a release that will truly mark the beginning of a new era... and the end of Fila Brazillia. Unquote.

They released their album in July 2008.

But hopefully Cobby and McSherry will rejoin...

  • Great song, Great album...:)

  • Happy Days, Thx for putting this up

  • I listen and I am happy

  • one of my favorite tracks of theirs!

    powerclown FTW

  • high as a muthaflipin' kite

  • good stuff!!!!!!!!

  • I am flying.....................

  • Fila Brazillia remains to be one of my favorite bands of all time. Their songs are complex and layered. If you like this kind of electrofunk....listen to Baby Mammoth.

  • thanks man baby mammoth is the shit

  • Also the album A different Ball Game by Bullitnuts

  • Also the album A different Ball Game by Bullitnuts

  • i listen to this tune on my walkman when i go naked jogging in the park in just my welly boots...damn i'd be fine if these damn cops wouldn't keep rugby tackling me...i should carry a pokey stick to fend 'em off...wicked tune...

  • great vid for a great track , hi to hull from the land of czech-neck

  • Uplifting, yet edgy. Mellow, but not tedious.

  • great song! fila b nice

  • Respect to Selectadisc in Nottingham for having this tune on 12inch.

  • Fila Brazillia, Best undiscovered groove band ever. Only wish they would make a new album as they seem to have ceased their output for a few years now. Check out their website for their back catalogue

  • I absolutely <3 Fila Brazilia

  • I love this song, can hear it again and again, makes me feel so good, very peaceful but full of energy!!!!

    Fila Brazilia is killer!!!!

  • Brilliant video, its style reminded me of Andy Warhol, Run Wrake, and Robert Rauschenberg all at once, quite awesome :)

  • Amazing guys. Electric music and a video which underline Fila Brazillia tallents.

  • this is so fucking great! i love fila brazillia too!

  • thta's bloody brilliant !

I swear, this is a perfect tune, pay attention when the new bives get in !!

I love FILA BRAZILLIA, have you ever listened to Mermaids tune ? I strongly recomend it...no words..once I heard it for the whole night again and again !

    ALBERT

  • mermaids was their first song to publish! and you are so right, fila brazilia is brilliant! I listen to a lot of different styles but there is by far no other music that touches me more than most fila songs!

  • I never knew that fila's fellows made video... Throwing Down A Shape is one of their best tunes ever... Just hope that people will stop by and appreciate those funk flavoured pieces of dope...

As other commented, It's affecting me really deeply, making this rare communication between my feets and my brain...

    Fucking great!

  • isnt that strange that a video added a week and a half ago is commented on by two people in the span of 12 or 13 hours.

I dont know what it is about Fila Brazillia; they just affect me in a way that I'm more than content to know that they don't most other people

  • If you don't mind me saying, it's a bit garbled-what you've written. But i understand exactly how fila can make you feel

  • Great Video, but i don't think any images could do justice to this flamenco electro masterpiece. This tune will be dropped at my funeral (and i will rise briefly from my coffin to shout "rewine!!")
