Well I hope African-Americans can still find happiness in having a half-black president because there's nothing else to be happy about. Public Housing and Section 8 are not the same thing. While both are based on 30% of the family's adjusted gross income, only with sec. 8 can a person rent an house, apartment, or trailer of their choosing in an area where they choose if the rent is considered reasonable by HUD standards. Public housing referrs to apartemnts owned by the housing authority, what most people call the "projects". Also, there is public housing still in Atlanta, not sure where you got your info from, but you're wrong
