Imo 350bhp is a reliable power output on an R, the sr20det is a robust engine capable of running 400+bhp on stock internals, but stock transmission is not as robust and cannot handle constant abuse (these are 20 years old now!) quaife and par gearsets will handle higher power outputs but gear casings have been known to fail at 450bhp, you really think they are hard to fix?! pmsl!!

My brother has got a gtir which is pushing 397bhp and i my self drive an r34 gtr but this damn pulsar is so so quick people have to jump in one to belive how quick this car can move. 400bhp is more than enought to beat any car up to 100mph in any road these pulsars are BEAST shame thought they do have problems with brakes unless you get some proper upgrade, My brothers car gets to 100mph fast but slowing down lol is allways been the problem for it. maybe if any of you had actually purchased aftermarket parts for your cars you would know that parts especially performance ones are as follows catback exhaust is about 1500 bucks, a intake around 5-600, blow off valve 300, upgrade a turbo ? at least 5000. intercooler at least 1500., new tubing 3-500. cold forged rods and heads 2000 bucks. headers 1000, full exhause 2500 - 3000. suspension 2000 - 5000

Go for bigger turbos and you will get higher top end speed. My GF's evo will most likely walk that viper right up to 300km/h.

Unfortunatly as you get a bigger turbo, you need bigger engines to run them.
