That is why this song came to be due to the accident that nearly killed him.

I foget when the drag race happened but remember that one of them almost didn't live.

Stay off the curve if you want to live it's a pretty nasty sharp curve like almost a square turn.

I drove it in my old caddy and even in that car with power assist steering and power everything I almost didn't make the curve.

People are still dying there today.

I had attended a car club show for vintage Cadillac owners while in Los Angeles.

I then was invited by friends to meet for dinner in the hills and was enroute when I encountered the curve.

When I arrived at the restaurant my friends asked me how it felt to survive the deadman curve.

I have driven in England and all over Europe and never encountered a road so steep and just plain crazy to drive.

Miss that old caddy shes gone now but thats a different story.

Not bad but dont have the thunder or the speed with the deep voices of the origional. and sounds more like a cover from happydays when the band on there at arnolds would cover a song, its nice but not great. I would say not a bad cover unlike most of the covers of pop songs where its reinterperated butchered and reassembled like frankenstine and sound about as bad.
