Not enough people get a view of an entire sweep of history. Since the time of Constantine the relation of Church-and-State is synonymous with Civil War. First Rome, the Pagan countries, then the endless hatreds divide, Jews, Pagans, nation states like France, Ireland, WW1, WW2, Korea, Vietnam, East Timore .. Where does the RCC live without war???

Here is a little example of the same crisis: a father, mother or both die, what is most likely to happen? Brothers will fight each other. It literally happened in royal families.
