All you need is for some activist to see you and you'll probably get a city ordinance drawn up banning RC in the city. Or possibly charged with cruelty to animals or worse...

I just dont understand why they say these ESC's can handle a certain number of Lipo cells and whenever you actualy try and take advantage of it they burn up. I have smoked 2 traxxas esc's, 1 Castle esc and motor doing nothing but driving it. For the money spent this should NEVER happen. QUALITY CONTROL A-HOLES.

@tcrote5516 It was the motor's fault. When I took everthing apart after the fire, I noticed the motor was seized. The rotor inside cracked. Made in China.

@bdawgswanson That happens all the time when the bearings give out. Why the ESC doesn't have a fail safe is beyond me.
