  • Why do some of them have white habits, some black and some without ?. Do sister have to have thier hair cut short under the habit. I remeber seeing Mother Teresa cut a young nuns hair. I always thought long hair was meant to be glory in the church, i could be wrong. I am not a catholic but i respect catholics and just because a few bad apples have fallen dont discount the true follows.

  • I remember my old Math teacher, Sister Veronica. She was as tough as nails, and she didn't take any sass from anyone.

I heard she she once smacked a would-be vandal (who wanted to spray-paint the statue of Our Lady) with a baking pan. I'm not sure if that's true, but I wouldn't put it past her.

She also made incredible butterscotch brownies (blondies}.

    God bless her soul :)

  • Does anyone know the name of the music that starts at about 10-15 seconds in?

  • haha, My old Youtube comment LovesGod40 is still on here. I love these sisters.

  • I am the father of two daughters and if both decided to become nuns, I couldn't be happier with my new son - in - law!!!

  • I will watch this video over and over; there is nothing more beautiful than a smiling nun wearing her habit and showing the world she is a bride of Christ and is consecrated to him.

  • @goooch42 I also watch this video over and over.

  • Absolutely lovely! Praise God for orthodox Catholics teaching the children! A "cleansing tide" has begun to wash over the country/the Church! I love it! Thank you sisters, for your sacrifice, to give up your "own" family, and giving yourselves to so many more children! God bless you!

  • Thank you for your wonderful representation of our Catholic faith on Oprah. Well done. I am a proud catholic and support your vowels and all your charitable works. Sincerely, LS

  • I miss my sisters, I cannot wait to see them again in May. Mary Mother of the Eucharist Pray for us. Totus Tuus Maria

  • It is so nice to see sisters wearing a full habit again.

  • Beautiful. I wish I could know them better :-)

  • Awesome to see the fruits of the Lord...Hello to Mother Assumpta and Sister Joesph Andrew, we miss you in Memphis, TN

  • great to see nuns playing football, good stuff

  • i like this video!

  • I really like this video. I think they like being sisters.

    B.

  • They should record an album of their devotionals. I'd surely buy it.

  • It's so strange. I can't stop thinking about them. I am discerning a religious call to the cloistered Carmelite nuns, and I honestly thought that would be the end for me. I might have to go and do a retreat with the DSMMEs to find out what this is that won't go away.

  • I will be meeting them in November. I am so excited.

  • They are beautiful. I would love to come on a visit maybe in the future.

  • God bless you, Sisters! May he bless the work you are doing, the "Opus Dei," of prayer for our world. Always live radically for Christ!

  • As the night's darkness gets blacker in the souls of men, the Light of the Church, Jesus Christ, shines all the brighter.

A good and holy priest said in answer to the question what vocation a young man should choose was, "It's not what gives you the most happiness. It's what gives you the most peace. That's what's right for you." Amen. To the Father through Jesus. To Jesus through Mary.

  • What wonderful singing!

  • wow, what a great community! Ours are only 12 nuns... what i really admire about american nuns: they really can sing, it sounds heavenly!!!!!!

  • Yes, I think we are all getting a little tired of selfishness being promoted as the only meaningful virtue. Perhaps the witness of the new religious will remind people of those "invisible products."

  • Go Team Caritas! What a great experience.

  • Very lovely

  • May the Lord Jesus Christ and the Blessed Mother get the sisters through difficult times ahead. The sisters along with monks/brothers are an important cornerstone of the Catholic Chrurch. Blessings

  • God bless all believers in Christ

  • Nice film, thank you so much!

  • Great video!

  • Yay DSMME! Greetings to Mother Assumpta from Nashville!

    This video is beautiful . . .
