@JohnJoness93 wait for the new blackberry torch 9810 or bold 9900, they'll be out in august/september hopefully, but if you don't want to wait then probably bold 9700, as from personal experience it runs a lot better and is more reliable.

I have that phone too! and it sucks beyond belief. Using it is a pain. It does next to nothing right. The keypad is loud, the slider isn't sturdy, the OS sucks, the glass broke after ONE drop, it freezes constantly, and even the track pad is messed up. I am completely disappointed in this phone. I only bought it for bbm, and even isnt all that great. Never will i own another BlackBerry. Besides, they're slowely dying anyway...lol

@CBMECHA I just bought a bold and it's amazing. if you're gonna get a blackberry you have to know what you want. they're obviously better at qwerty style phones like the bold and curve. if you wanted fancy touchscreens then apple, htc, android and shit like that is the way to go.

@markkkkkola Though the layout of they keypad was good, it just felt cheap to use. I wanted a BB because of bbm. And to be honest, not even BBM is that great. There are many apps that work between brands that are just as good, if not, better: such as Whatsapp. Coming from a Samsung i879, I wanted a decent size screen. And the Storm is terrible (from what I've heard/read). So the obvious choice for me was the Torch. I only wish I hadn't bought it.

After using this BB9800, I go back to use BB8700 and never want to get along with modern RIM technology. BB9800 is not useful. Combination of BB8700 & Ipodtouch is greatest.

@StarInTheHood129 used to have the 8520 curve and since three days i have the torch and the torch is way better. first of all with the 8520 the key are quite loud when youre writing and it just doesn't have as many features as the torch. also i like the touchscreen, it works really good and if you wanna write a long text you still have the full keyboard... so torch is defintly better but it does cost twica as much as the curve.. P.S: sorry for my bad english, its not my mative language

I Posses a Blackberry Torch 9800.

It's A VERY good phone.

The BBM Is perfectly good, which 2 different ways to type (Keypad, Or Touchscreen)

If you get tired of using the trackpad, you can use your finger.

You can use all social Networks; These are: MSN, Yahoo messenger, Google Talk, AOL instant messanger, Facebook, Twitter, Youtube And Myspace.

@rokenrol17 you can type with the touchscreen in three different ways, landscape so both side of landscape and also the normal way (only if the keyboard is slid down for all three), you can also type on the keyboard but only in the ordinary way (: Great phone but you need paitience!
