Actually Dan Slott is doing three issues with Marcos Martin, and Mark Waid is doing the next 3 issues with Paul Azaceta to kick off the Gauntlet story arc.

I liked Mark Waids writing but I didn't like Azaceta's art, it wasn't for me. I kinda liked Checchetto's art during the rehash of the clone wars (which I kind of liked because I'm a novice to comics, just getting into them and was like "oh spidey got cloned... kinda cool")

I liked the Geoff Johns & Yo Ma Jokes but hated the art in this Not so Amazing Deadpool/Spidey issue. 2 stars out of 5 stars. Arcs of Amazing are hit & miss I got the trade (Crime & Punisher) w/ the Flash as War hero getting the Medal of Honor was the best of the best but the rest of the trade was crap --looking at Chris Bachalo inks are awful & the Punisher story didnt interest me at all.

l may have 2 check that issue of Spidey out. The arachnid has never been a favorite of mine and Odin knows that Deadpool has never been on my radar, but after taking a chance on picking up the B and the B...featuring DialH Flash and the Blackhawks after u guys raved about them, all l gotta say is bring on more J.Michael.

Those books were as enjoyable as y'all made out 2 be and then some! 4 myself, its good 2 see good-natured, clean stories 4 a change.

Still hate the whole "Deal with the Devil" thing.. which is something they REALLY got to fix... hopefully at the end of Dark Reign.....

But they do have some great writers working on some great stories... so I'll stick with it for a while... at least until they reveal that Aunt May is Mephisto in disguise

I've been sticking with ASM through thick and thin for a while now (that last arc was almost unbearable) but I think this is the first issue I've had to put down because I just couldn't get through it. It was that atrocious cluster-fucked art!!! It took me right out of the book. I'll go back and read it now after hearing that it's actually pretty good, but man... I hated that fucking art.

I didn't buy ASM#609+610 because #607 +608 were terrible. The first 3 pages of ASM#607 pissed me off as a person who has been reading Spider-Man since I was 6 years old... It makes me happy that Waid and Slott are coming back to fix all that mess... hopefully. After the shitty Black Cat arc I told myself I will only buy the Waid and Slott stuff. Maybe the Joe Kelly stuff if I have the money.

Thanks for you comments on the non-inking/ need of tightening up the art. Something was bugging me about the art of this issue that was pulling me out of the comic, and you guys hit the issue on the head.

Amazing Spider-Man in the top 10 with Mark Waid and Dan Slott issues would look alot better for Marvel instead of Bendis' New and Dark Avengers. (Which is goin' down, YEAHHHHHHHHHH!!)

Glad to see you back Elliott, I guess I will have to start behaving myself on the CCW site again now that you have returned. It was like a crazy house party while you were away. I think Jose had to spend the night before you got back cleaning up beer bottles and pizza boxes, also freeing the guy from Boom!, we had him ducted tapped to the wall until he gave into our demands .
