I Saw this on Top of The Pops 2 which was on the Dave Channel today between 11:00 GMT and 11:30 GMT.

(Ignore the Time youtube says this message was sent it is actually being sent between 13:59 GMT and 14:00 GMT but for some reason youtube is on American Time so it is more like 07:00 CET to 08:00 CET Near enough but now 14:02 GMT).

in the BBC write up of this track...they claim the bassline is from the Staple singers "I'll take you there"...i would say its more the Bassline from Harry J Allstars "Liquidator"

In my sixth year at school this was one of the tunes that broadened my horizons towards hip=hop, ska, bluebeat, soul etc where once all i listened to was Tommy Vance's "Rock Show". Made me who I am today. BTW, to all claiming music was better back then... you do realise you're turning into your parents don't you?
