Rings of Power (Genesis) Ending

When I was about 12 I had every ring except the ring of Intuition. I tried, and tried, and tried but could not find that ring for the love of god. Time went by and I gave up and lost the game, sold my megadrive. It always bugged me that I never completed it, what wonder lay beyond the door of the holy font? (or whatever it was called), so thank fuck for emulators (and walkthroughs) that allowed me to finally complete the game and to have probably the biggest dissapointment of my adult life.

I found only one rings and i dont get it, i die and die, field of trap black quadrates. :( Game of my childhood, sweet memory and i play someday in it :) Yes, and i have english version, problem with translate.

Classic... another was Phantasy Star and Ultima four... then Oblivion ... Knights of the Old Republic FTW... (Fable was fail) Puzzles woot... now they had a good game called Wow... as it progressed it lost its appeal as a rpg now its a spam channel LOL

There is nothing that can compare to the sense of acheivement you got from finishing this game "back in the day", ala before teh internetz and FAQS. It required perserverence that's for sure but the freedom was unmatched.

The Void stuff was also definitely for handling errors & exceptions. *sigh* such an amazing game, and nothing else like it.

the soundtrack and the others sound effects are so pleasent to my ears... could listen to it for so long without any boredom.. had somewhere even ripped tracks from the very game. been listening to it with such a nostalgy... thumbs up for the best rpg genesis ever could deliver

I remember my first time playing this, I got the Ring of Will quite early on (after several hours of battling with the maze,) but embarassingly, it took me ages to get the Ring of Perfection, it took a while to find the lab, but for some reason, I got the idea that the paper with the co-ordinates for the Chamber of Perfection were pointing to Celestial City. It took a few weeks before I realised. :P

The only thing i can clearly remember was the lunatic asylum, it freaked me out, oh and the forest maze thing, i made a bigass map on graph paper to try and find my way through it.

I'm pretty sure it's a cover up for when the game throws an error. You can trigger it in a certain vehicle merchants by walking through a woman and then turning back to face her.

Once it happened when I encountered a RED (yes, it's true) dinosaur vehicle. Of course I was curious and tried to encounter it and then Void appeared. Since then I've always thought that Void actually is out there and hunting for you all the time. But now I realize it might have be some kind of error, which triggered Void.

i got every ring except the Forest Maze one...i finally gave up after a while...sucked too cuz i was almost to the end and spent alot of time with the game...even with the instruction(cheat) manual it was still harder than hell to play this game and was REALLY hard at the start of the game to get going but very rewarding when you learned how to play it.

This was one of the HARDEST games i ever played and im glad that the book it came with basically told you everything you had to do in the game otherwise this game would of been IMPOSSIBLE...i never did finish it either,came very close tho.

completed when i was 10 years old.. i didnt know english so i translate all dialogue with dictdionary.... damn, the time is passed in these years and no one made a awsome game like this yet... i'm looking for some game editor to remake it but no one is really good for now.. oblivion doesnt have party battle....

This was my first try at an RPG and it bust my balls in being so! You had to feed your party to stay alive as well as maintain your means of transport (dragons were fuckin food hogs!), deal with time-event situations, and suffer the penalties for neglecting to camp before a major battle. ATTACK!

I never was able to finish it because I never found the sextant but I still played itzealously as a coming-of-age gamer.

was a PAIINNN!!! but was accomplished after many tries :D

the first ring we found was ring of advancing if im correct (one by catheral in zoom spot :D)

and last one was ring of mutation
