  • @razaviknows idk man im a wrestler of 6 yrs still If I fight on the streets I only throw hits no take downs or anything but I will say it does help if some one tries to take you down or grt you in a lock

  • i cheer to this if i seen this in a match

  • This is crazy. I need some good coaching out of practice. Im only in my second year of wrestling, and since sports are so damned expensive and my school is so small i have to wrestle varsity, which sucks lol. Hopefully this year will be better since we got moved a division

  • Its easy

  • I got the elbow to sweep but then I was just like fuck this

  • Mother of god....

  • Nice sweet combo marvelous

  • i think its pretty obvious wrestling would work in a street fight. it IS a form of COMBAT...

  • Whats up with the annoying buzz sound?.

  • @purplestarxxx2002 Just means that the light bulbs are old and need to be replaced because they aren't allowing the electricity to flow properly.

  • Danm...

  • That was insane

  • Nice move, but you wouldn't get 5 points. And this sets up a pretty easy scramble situation for the defensive wrestler, notice how he is locked around the body when the move is finished. That's not a takedown (yet), they should show how to finish from that situation

  • @jackedupteam actually when you lift the legs straight up at the end, your demonstrating complete control that most referees will give you the take down and near fall, but if he doesn't just go ahead and block his shoulder with your right hand like it says in the video :D

  • is this a 5 point move? 2 point take down plus 3 point nearfall, right? :o

  • that was sexy

  • quick move

  • man this is insane(: I love it! Trying this in the wrestlingg practice furr suree[;

  • Thats awesome! Definitely gonna use that.

  • they'll catch that knee and flip u on ur head

  • this move was a little cofusing and hard at first but i got it down its very use ful

  • @TheTyrel24 i agree. is there a way to simplify this

  • wrestling isn't a pussy sport mothafuckas. only a pussy wouldn't wana learn moves that are complicated to remember. mothafuckas a true wrestler knows technique of hard moves so shut yals bitchasses up about this move mothafuckas.

  • That was bad ass!

  • I need to get together with someone and start putting reps for this move.

  • beautiful.

  • People that can't appreciate this in the context of wrestling? This is poetry in motion.

Anyone who thinks this couldn't benefit you in a street fight is delusional. These guys would be on you so quick you wouldn't have time to blink. Try to throw a knee after he's snapped your head down between them. These vids are meant for wrestling, but don't sleep. These guys kick ass for a living.

  • I completely agree. People assume that since alot of wrestling moves are very technical and tailored to wrestling situations, that a wrestler couldn't be effective in a street fight. They always say "I'd knee him or punch him in the face when he shoots." Good luck kneeing a guy hitting a blast double, or trying to punch someone hitting a low single...

  • Training in wrestling for years means nothing in a street fight, especially if the other guy listens to loud rap music and looks mean.

  • @deadmonikor You also gotta mention the fact that these guys are in top physical condition, ripped, and in sahpe beyond it all you know?

  • i used this move once when i was down by one with less than 5 seconds left...it was freaking great :-)

  • its not fake it sucks

  • I am doing this move tommorow

  • if imright, thats a double leg cutback to a takedown. i havent wrestled in ten years and this make me wanna get back to wrestle, just to get back into shape.

  • i going to the gramby camp this summer with my team so watching this gets me so pumped!!!!!!!!XD

  • they said the name .

  • yeah i did that while i was wrestling in the tourney and i think it really worked but i need practice tho. thanks!!!=]

  • does this move got a name???

  • isnt the sweep the same as an outside shot

  • Thats way harder doing that with someone you're weight or a bit heavier though...

They make that stuff look easy

  • yeah i know, but i think the trick is to do it quickly so that your momentum counters the other wrestler's strengh/weight.

  • the spin is sick

  • wait... im am not familier wiht wrestling, is this supposed to u help u in a real fight or is this just for sport.

  • just for wreslting. if u try it in a fight they will knee you in the face for sure

  • mma fighters use doubles all the time, but they do also eat a knee once in a while.

  • it helps big time in a fight, they use double legs all the time in real fights

  • true but not like this switching all over the place anyone think this exact tech would work in a fight?

  • Actually, situations in a single leg shot come up all the time that are like this. As a basic jiu jitsu move they teach a shot from turtle guard (knees and elbows) that's similar to this, and it's a good thing to practice a lot of variations on these sorts of techniques in order to be able to respond immediately instead of being countered (or in a fight, guillotined).

  • u ever get kneed in the face

  • @west1hunnit gl kneeing me in the face when I shoot my mma modified blast double (georges st. pierre's shot)

  • @lukekane23 if you go to knee or kick your on one leg for a moment making the takedown easier, just go back to early UFCs and watch dan severns first few fights, he beat a muay thai guy without even throwin a punch! imagine if he knew how to strike as well lol

  • @lukekane23 Probably not...His head isnt in any danger except for the split second beginning. His move was executed pretty quick.

  • the guy narrating this, i know him, just left the school today, hes an asshole

  • he sounds like it

  • won't load?

  • This is pretty good for me because they focus on freestyle wrestling and I think I can pull this move of in a match with little difficulty. Is there a counter to this though?

  • ya, a crossface that would break your nose.

  • very good move, i think this would be a good counter

the counter: 1. circle as the guy sweeps and snakes your leg. 2. throw in an underhook 3. knock the posting hand balance and turn toward that posting hand

  • I loved it, is like the Judo Kata-Guruma, so I"m going to use it in Judo class.

  • but see the thing is..if you pull the arm down and then to the left really hard the opponent's left foot will go towards you making it easy for the sweep.

  • looks good will try! yeah yeah

  • Man, that's slick. It'll take me about a week to figure that one out

  • It may be harder to sweep that elbow than it looks, but may work with good movement. I think it might be more effective if it's finished with a shot to the sweep side instead of the far side.

  • setup seems a little far. Turn elbow out. I have to make a huge rotation to sweep on the far leg. Again not bloody likely with out some footwork in between.

I alwasy cringe when I see somone showing a russian as a setupt to a high C or a firmans on the near leg for the sam reason. Its too bloody far. There are better roads. Pretty, but not effective against real competition

  • ahh finish seems a little complicated. Has a single. Has a hand posted on mat. Running to beat the sprawl. I'm ok so far. looks like I am going to keep driving in and finish my single on the mat.... no, I decide to add some needless complexity "cut back double" not bloody likely.

  • my school

  • Yeah, you just gotta practice it alot, til you get real quick. If you try and do it, without doing it fast, or if you create a pattern of trying to do it, it can backfire real easy.

  • the god of wrestlings say's that takedown is going to get you in to trouble, he should spin to the lef, then drop levels grab one leg and run the pipe

  • If you're quick it shouldn't get you into any trouble.

  • what if you cant get there arm over your head that easy

  • get a good grip on his elbow;it works as a "natural handle".

  • thx
