@luvdj OK, but I read somwhere that it was important to not level up while EV training, but you had to battle 25 Pokèmon with the Power Item and then battle 1 Pokèmon without the Battle Item, and not level it up. You have to level up with the Rare Candy, I thought.

hello, i battled like 23 tangelas for my Feraligatr (Defense)

and when it reaches lv, 65 nothing happend my defense stat is +3 only help ;(

@louisrafaelespinosa You need to battle 25 Tangelas with the power item that increases Defense and defeat 1 Tangela without the power item that increases Defense, try that, if that doesn't work, try for 30 ;-)

@louisrafaelespinosa Since it is lvl 65, you have probably used all the ev points.

A pokemon can have a maximum of 525 (?) ev's, and as he probabbly is your starter, you have been battling random pokemon and gotten random ev's. You cnat remove evs either, so you should breed a new totodile and ev train it instead.

@PokeTheMan3000 The EV Limit is 510, with 255 Max in any one stat. Also, you can remove EV's with the 6 EV reducing Berries. Pomeg.Kelpsy, Qualot,Hondew,Grepa,and Tamato berries reduce the EV's invested in HP, Atk,Def,Sp.A, Sp.D, and Speed respectively.

@PokeTheMan3000 The max in each stat is 255 like I said the first time. You only NEED 252 to maximize your boost in that stat.

hey horus, i found a good spot to ev attack in diamond and pearl. once you catch all the legendaries you can re-battle this trainer PI Carlos on Route 214, he has 3 Seakings which I believe give 2 evs in attack
