I really don't agree with that comment. Have you not seen Chinese Opera? Make-up can be extremely important in a Chinese performance. Also, as a European (British), I can honestly say the beauties of this world are mostly Asian.. Zhou Xuan, Tsai Chin, Jolin Tsai, Gong Li, Michelle Yeoh, Zhang Ziyi... etc. I think this performance is great, she's not usually performing infront of a crowd, usually behind a camera.. she's brave.
If you don't like lipsyncing, don't watch PBN then. hehe.

yeah the "spring gala" is like this HUGE thing CCTV does every year and they're obsessed with having it perfect cuz there's millions of chinese ppl watching this on the eve of the chinese new year. So they supposedly can't affordd mistakes so they record the singers singing the song the day before and play a recording at the actual gala for the singer to lip sync. It's still her voice, they just cant hav lik if the singer came in sick er sumthing they'd stil have a recording.
Also isn't lip synching prohibited by law in China, so yeah, don't think she's completely lip synching
