  • THERES A FIRE ON THE SHORE!

  • LADIES AND GENTLMEN! BOYS AND GIRLS!!

  • 0:01 skip all adds!!!

  • Gallows and FEARBEFORETHEMARCHOfFlames are the only bands that make this kind of music they should really tour together.

  • Classic! (after odd how people shake, of couse!)

  • So fucking raw, so fucking good.

  • This is a pretty funny video

  • this is so raw

  • What happen to this band

  • Best song ever... evah! OH YEAH!

  • that would be way too much ketchup for me to handle

  • I really don't like any of their old music but you gotta admit, it's impossible to hate The Always Open Mouth ;)

  • 1 minute and 13 seconds of pure blood and awesomeness :D

  • It's weird how much they changed on every album/...from metalcore to mathcore to art rock....

  • How the fuck do hack bands like Miss May I and Asking Alexandria have more views than these guys? I've loved these guys since high school

  • Never saw them live, but can someone explain to me why the drummer looks so fucking bored and un-enthused? On the recordings I love his drumming, as it sounds pretty aggressive regardless of complexity.

  • I remember seeing them with thursday at crazy donkey shit was intense. :)

  • I saw them play with The Fall of Troy and The Number 12 Looks Like You a few years back for 6 dollars. Best money I've ever spent!

  • LETS PRY HER CHEST OPEN!

  • this band fucking owns!

    FBTMOF for life.

  • what the hell is that at 1:27?

  • @ihaveniceass says noonar when u pause it...

  • this sucks

  • this song makes me feel like im zuted with or without the yayo.

  • Those kids at the end crack me up.

  • 40 people haven't taken acid

  • Great stuff, gritty and all over the place like hardcore should sound.

  • sub par

  • Wish I would have payed more attention to these guys back in the day

  • Can't deny, these motherfuckers have always been a number 1 band for me. They are the reason I pushed on to form many bands and destroy the stage like this. They came before all the adtr, aild, bmth, and other shtuff like that. true classics and raw material. Cheers!

  • Saw Fear Before in 2005 when they toured with Bear vs. Shark. Both bands were excellent live!

  • Personally... one of my favorite bands ever... In all their incarnations.

  • @bknight3391 they've got the midas touch when it comes to music

  • to bad this band sucks now

  • @firearmsluver They were good then?

  • @firearmsluver Fear Before's music is like wine; it's gotten better and better with each album. They've really transformed into an exceptional band as their talent has grown and ideas have changed. Not one song is a disappointment. "The Always Open Mouth" is the best one in my opinion and you could sleep like a baby to "Art Damage". But I enjoy their last album more than their first. No way do these men suck.

  • i saw these guys play with The Red Chord and Evergreen Terrace about five or six years ago. now, THAT was a show! these two bitches were talking standing up front right next to the stage, and the lead singer of Red Chord kept getting right in there faces while they were playing. After a few songs he finally told them to get the fuck away from him and his band if they insisted on talking all the way through the set. it was priceless.

  • @grendelsbeard Guy always tells the crowd how he really feels. that makes the red chord so damn good live :P

  • @grendelsbeard I fucking love Guy. He's so funny and awesome.

  • bands change names all the time. if it doesnt affect the music, who honestly cares. and if you say you didnt like the album because it was different, all the stuff they do is different. its one of the things that i like about them, they manage to keep the fans on their toes

  • anyone knows the name or mark to the white guitar????

  • ALSO, THE DAY THIS BAND DECIDED TO CALL THEMSELVES "FEAR BEFORE" INSTEAD OF THE EPICNESS OF: FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES WAS THEIR BIGGEST MISTAKE.

I WENT TO A SHOW THEY WERE WITH THE NUMBER 12 (RIP), SOME GUY WAS LIKE HEY, "FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES IS PLAYING NEXT YOU WANT TO STAY FOR THEM?"

I LOOKED AT HIM AND SAID, "FEAR BEFORE THE MARCH OF FLAMES? THAT IS AN AWESOME NAME."

AND ALONG WITH THAT WAS AN AWESOME SHOW, AND I WENT HOME AND GOT ALL THEIR SHIT. (OPEN MOUTH ERA)

  • @mahavishnuxc are you serious? does it matter? the music is still really really good. that never changed. it's not a big deal. everybody was just calling them fear before all the time so the last cd they did was just titled fear before. what's the big deal?

  • @chadinterrupted of course not, what im saying is that they should have stuck with "fear before the march of flames", to me they are "fear before the march of flames". i still like them, regardless of what their name is, i was just saying.

  • LOLLLL.

  • i need more Fear

  • turn that shit dooowwnnn!!! piiiiiiiissssss

  • this was good until the dood opened his mouth and screamed like a crazy man

  • it sounds like duck duck goose before they got really stupid

  • @nickygriiigggggs5 HEY FUCK YOU. Duck Duck Goose are amazing. Even though Noise is better than Off Yourself, OY still has some awesome songs

  • I just want the instrumental version. The vocals just poop on the song. And it smells. And sucks. Really bad.

  • LETS DO COKE LKE WERE VACCUUMS

  • It's not EqualVisions fault that RiseRecords is stealing all the fucking great bands. Lol. Yes it is.

  • couldn't get more than 15 seconds into the song. absolute shit.

  • This is horrendous...

  • dear shit core: stop embarrassing the metal genre.

  • i hate u all but love the band

  • Oh my god, this sucks. No wonder the Arizona shooter listened to this shit!

  • Wow... this shit SUCKS

  • AHHHHH!!!!! my ears hurt from so much SUCK

  • I have had this song stuck in my head this whole week.

    great song

  • reminds me of heavy heavy low low ...but it could just be me lol

  • Love this soooong.

  • eh ive heard better bands..

  • @cheyrose333xD like who?

  • @chadinterrupted black dahlia murder, white chapel, job for a cowboy, lamb of god, suicide silence. i could go on but im tired.

  • Comment removed

  • @chadinterrupted whatever i can be a better person then u and not talk shit. Those bands are better, but thats for me to decide and u to understand.:) dum dum.

  • @cheyrose333xD what does better mean to you? what makes good music?

  • @chadinterrupted Well first of all the louder, harder heavier is better. Second of all please get a new singer:b third, rhythm changes r good. solo's are better. Eh just over all it kinda sounds lame.

  • @cheyrose333xD you realize that's why there is a disagreement? good music to me is music that is original, creative, passionate, and emotional. the music you think is good doesn't fit any one of those things, that is why i don't like it. fear before fits into a lot of my what is good category. yes, heavy is good, but the bands you listen to just sound awfully generic. probably because when i was younger i wore myself out of that little kids stuff.

  • @chadinterrupted well idk why were argueing if we both understand the concept of everybody likes different music. I personally love heavy metal because it expresses the thing i cant. It makes me feel happy and warm inside. I never said classic music was bad.. but im just more of a head banger, lets go kik some fuckin ass kinda person. but whatever...... glad we had this conversation. Now ima go listen to some Black dahlia murder and u can go listen to the beatles. Have fun chadinterrupted.

  • @cheyrose333xD okay, why do you think i enjoy listening to the shitty beatles? i never said that at all. I HATE classic rock with a fucking passion. if i liked it i wouldn't be posting on a fear before video. i like bands like, iwrestledabearonce, the number 12 looks like you, the fall of troy, horse the band, the music i write, and that's about it. i'm sure there's more. iwobo is heavy as fuck, you should listen to them. but yeah, glad we had this conversation. everybody's good is different.

  • @chadinterrupted i have listenend to iwabo i respect them cause its a chick screaming,, but the little singing shit she does is weird. I also like hoarse the band ahha their kinda weird.

  • @cheyrose333xD i guess i relate to weird stuff. iwobo is good because they are good.

it could be a guy singer and they'd still be awesome.

  • @chadinterrupted iwabo*

  • @chadinterrupted u spelled iwobo, i was just correcting it :)

  • little brother...when you grow up, it will sound like shit and you'll laugh too.

  • I wish people would stop trying to peg bands as a certain genre/sub-genre. These days there is nothing completely original, everything is just a cut and paste sound from varying influences. Not to say that there's no good new bands, but shut the fuck up trying to define them and just enjoy the music. And if you don't like it, don't listen or don't bitch... no one fucking cares.

  • THIS BAND SHITS ON ALL YOU MILLIONAIRE FAGGOT FUCKS AND MAKES YOU WORSHIP THE FUCKING GROUND US HARDCORE KINGS WALK ON YOU LAME 5TH OF THE WORLD FAGGOT FUCKS AND TRENDY ASSWHOLE-LICKING NIGGER CUNTS

  • @baxstrum YEAH!!!

  • @baxstrum You alone, with that one fucking stupid comment, are enough reason for someone to hate this band. You should never speak again, and probably go to hell. If was to see your bigot-ass face, I would take a shit down your fucking throat. learn to be real and watch what you say you fucking poser.

  • Even better live

  • If there was such a thing as alt-deathmetal this would be it.

  • @SonofReach14 ......not even close.

  • @SonofReach14 You obviously have no idea what death metal is do you? He is in now way growling, and the music is NO WHERE near death metal

  • This was filmed in the same basement as in the film Fight Club. fun fact of the day.

  • Adam Fisher is a lot more talented than the crappy backup vocals he does for this douche band

  • ummmmmm yea.... orbs is better than this

  • whis is the best meatal I LOVE THIS SONG

  • they need to make more music already

  • this band is pretty damn diverse. i love it

  • number 12 is epic as hell @tiedyematt

  • LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, BOYS AND GIRLS!

*proceeds to headbanging the fuck out*

  • was looking forward to something i might of liked, guess its not my thing. good for you guys, and good for the band, not me tho :)

  • sick ass time signatures

  • when i saw them live, i think david marion might have popped some ecstasy.

  • this is the!!!! WORST music ever....worse than watching re-runs of power puff girls

  • @mikelannan Dude, power puff girls are the shit!!! and so is this band!

  • @mikelannan i dont wanna offend you, but there must be something wrong with you if you dont like fear before..my ears get off to this music!!

  • This video and song is balls.

  • I'm just simply staring

  • raw as fuck

  • Reminds me a lot of converge. But is the song called "Should Have Stayed in the Shallows"? Or is that the band?

  • @Dp73009 the band is called "Fear Before the March of Flames" when this song came out. Since then changed to just "Fear Before".

  • Holy shit, they cloned Justin Bieber and put them in a "band" that makes ummm "music"?

    BURN IT!

  • @Kyd0x Yeah, I am almost positive this song came out in 2004? I don't believe Justin Bieber was even famous then. I don't really see how any of these guys could be compared to Bieber either...

  • @Kyd0x you fail at being a troll.

  • BEASTT as hell

  • I love this song. People don't like it mainly because they are so used to hearing generic power chords blared into their ears that they can't differentiate the real art from the corporately funded sellouts. I wish they made more songs like this.

  • great stuff.

  • equal vision is amazing!

  • sooo good. sooooo good. so good.

  • man i think the last time i saw this video was 5 years ago 0_0"

    anyways... :D yes.

  • who would be willing to sell me a little less teeth ep?

  • These guys are perfect. How many bands can change their sound on every album, and still rock out? Even the Fear Before release is "heavy" in it's own way... BTW, all this debate on genre, wasn't one of their original influences Botch? Hello that's mathcore., not metal, rock, hardcore... It's just a different style of metalcore, just more complex.

  • @unresolved777 Way to wiki your genre definitions.

  • @LiverKick1 Lol, nah. I remembered a review from Norma Jean way back when the singer had said they were influenced by Botch too, and all mathcore is, is a more complex metalcore style. I didn't even think of wiki.

  • Comment removed

  • @unresolved777 mathcore? how many genres do they need dude? Seriously this whole genre thing is getting out of hand.

  • love it.

  • THE PARTY HASN'T STARTED TILL THERE'S SPIKE IN THE PUNCH!

  • I'm the life of the party until I sober up!!!

    Fucking love this band.

  • favorite band att the moment along with number 12 epic shit

  • @tiedyedmatt number 12 is amazing. and so is this.

  • @tiedyedmatt CHECK OUT "THE BLOOD BROTHERS" MY FRIEND.

  • @tiedyedmatt yeah but the number 12 is more progressif/jazzy thant this band but sound great :D

  • lol so much faggotry in the comments here

i fucking love this band.. i don't really care what people think this band is trying to do cause either way they sound damn good to me

it sounds like a mixture of ridiculousness, groggy voices, and catchy ass guitars to me, and i can't get enough of this fucking song

SHARK THAT GOT HER WAS AN EFFICIENT KILLER

  • @sammpaull2722 Same thing goes for I Set My Friends On Fire. It's sad that most people don't get it.

  • this is so good.

    fuck attack attack.

  • >.>

  • ! fucken love fear before the march of flames<3333

    word.

  • raining blood? cool! i like screamo but not when they only scream. i couldnt understand a single thing but it was good and i liked it i guess.

  • @ksisavampire16 listen to their "the always open mouth" cd. its calm and erie with the necessary kick

  • @pimpjacket That was the first album I bought from them and I just fell in love from there on. It was more chilled out and eerie. You're right about that. But I kinda like their style with this album and "Odd How People Shake" better than "The Always Open Mouth" and "Fear Before". They're a bit more laid back now, but they were wild in their early days.

  • @DaRocker21 yea i feel ya. it seems like most bands were always a lot wilder on their demos and early cds though. then they seem to calm down a little to get their own style once they start working well as a band you kno

  • @pimpjacket True that. Bands like Deftones, Thursday, and The Fall of Troy have calmed from their earlier harder edge also. Although, Deftones have done a great job with their transition though.

  • @DaRocker21 word dood. word

  • @ksisavampire16 omg your an idiot. This isn't "scremo" scremo is exactly the shit music your looking for when they use yelling and have pussy singing solos. Just go listen to BMTH you queer

  • Comment removed

  • @ksisavampire16 This isn't screamo, it's Post-Hardcore. Want screamo? Listen to Circle Takes the Square, pg. 99, or Envy.

  • @liekbad well im sorry.. my only issue is when ppl bitch...

  • not really a fan... if you are, good for you, but for me... Meh

  • great song, awesome album. The always open mouth is sick too, i'm not sure what they've done recently but you can't improve perfection!

  • I love this band.

  • the sub genre for these folks in this here band is good metal nar nar nar

  • @sk8aroundMusic

    wait what?

  • they are fear before now, they changed their name, they used to go by fear before the march of flames, they're still fucking great even if their style changed, one of the best bands i've had the pleasure to listen to, live and on my ipod lol

  • Sorry for the dumb question, but I just discovered this band today. Is Fear Before the March of Flames the same band as Fear Before..?

  • Ahahaha... Just, ahahaha.

  • I use this as a threat 2 shut up my lil bro

I say "IF U DONT SHUT UP ILL PUT ON MY FAV SONG AGAIN"

  • i agree with pimpjacket

  • Wow it sounds like super punk

  • the machine shed on my fam rains blood inside too but thats only cuz its haunted not cuz im in a band or any thing...

  • I would love to see a FBMOF show. I bet it is sick

  • @imjeff3 A lot of headstands and beautiful mustaches.

  • hardcore bands=masters of tripletts and major 5th chords :D

  • The Art Damage album was ment to be art damaged.

To be disliked by all but the most hardcore fans.

If you don't like this then Fear accomplished what they set out for.

Go buy the new new found glory album if this is to much for you.

    Fuck you all.

  • oh Clint Norris started a new band?

  • youre all idiots for saying this band is a want to be anything this song is YEARS old and the band has since come out with multiple albums and changed its name

  • @coryjosephfritts very true, i remeber hearing this song wnen i was in 8th or 9th grade. and now im 19 lol

this was the shit back when the "scene" started.

  • TOTAL CRAP!!!!! All these Indie/Screamo/Emo/Hardcore trying to be Slayer meets Big Black. But I'll take Big Black anyday over these wussies!!!!

  • @RikkiX69 Slayer fucking sucks balls.

  • @iEraseBraces I agree completely.

  • thiiiiisssss bandsss basically crapp...i like rock but this songs not worth shitt...kinda a wanna be slipknot

  • @0whip

Where do you get Slipknot from? Slipknot ride the line of Metal/Nu Metal. These guys are post hardcore/Art/Noise and use METAL techniques very sparsely in their music. Not my cup of tea....but I know how to identify what I'm listening to.......

  • @0whip slipknot is gay and is a very boring band

  • @0whip this isn't rock?? o.O Stupid. slipknot sucks balls but it isn't rock either! its heavy metal!

  • no offence. but they seem like abuch of teenagers who mommy and daddy bought them guitars and started a band

  • ugh! i fucking wish fbtmof still sounded like this. Its complete chaos. There is never a dull moment in this song, can you imagine what it would have been like to see them play this live.

  • @conducting4rmthgrave It was amazing. I saw them ALOT before they got signed in denver, I saw them with bleeding through, walls of jericho, and some other band during their first album release. Everyone got a free CD that night :) But they changed to appease the masses.

  • @bloodthreat fuck the masses. People are idiots.

  • bad qualitiy . good music

    Not more than 96kbit/s
