So i would like to set the record straight . first off this video is of my truck . it has 6 l7 15 on three zx 1500 s . this vehicle had 4 redtops and i beat this truck up for 2.5 years i drove it dailey .this vehicle hit a 152.9 db on the windshield using a termlab mic i had a audiocontrol 5 volt preamp amplifier on it also hence why the gains were turned down this vehicle had all three amps gain matched to if i can remember around 90 volts output so for all of you wanna be

Gains are NOT volume knobs. They are there to match the amp to the head unit level. So if done correct for your head unit, your gains may be loudest when turned down. So what is the point of noting the gain setting in the title? May as well put real big "(LOW PASS CROSSOVER SLOPE SET AT 24db PER OCTAVE)"

Actually the MSRP on a kicker L7 15 is $599.95 (straight from the kicker website). so it would be 3600 in just sub's you forgetting the door speakers amplifiers head unit that custom box (probably the most expensive single part of the system if he didnt do it himself) I own a 2004 maxima.. With 2 L7 15's and my system priced around $5,500. Of course I bought all my shit straight from a kicker dealer. i can imagine his was alot more. however my 2 15's hit harder than his six

Gain is there to match the voltage with the source so it will not square wave. Turning them up or down will not make the amp put out more or less like the gain is a volume pot

they are refurbished and arent official. they are pre-owned subs that were sent back as defective or blown. they just steam clean them up and put kicker replacement coils and cones on them and resell them to suckers who think they are gettin new subs for cheap. a real official brand new kicker 15" L7 sells for $400 retail and about $300 wholesale.
