@attilagenius94 Do you have a pre-built computer such as Dell, Gateway, Acer etc? If so, Bios are locked and you can't change it. If you have an aftermarket mobo, you should be able to unless for some strange reason locked.

@Danistheman180 what graphics card are you runnning ? its not all about cpu its also about gpu, ram and sometimes even hdd but this has less of impact. but its not normal for quad to run low, as i got phenom 2 quad 3.2 Ghz OC @ 3.4 and can run games fine over 5760 x1080 but thats mainly due to graphics card :) (which cost more than my cpu!) mail me if you got questions :)

@HostileDonut original equipment manufacturer, in this case it is a pre-built computer (ie dell, acer, asus, HP etc) companies that build systems lock the BIOSs on their motherboards so you can not change the clocks...hense no overclocking

@NsMs96 no it wont, ahhhhhh when @asillynoob talks about OEM he means computers that you buy that are already loaded with an operation system and alreaedy put togeather and pre configered and run reallly stable and dont let you OC them so you cant screw the companies settings up. (genreally speaking, few exceptions like Alien ware i tihnk) but OEM software cant touch your bios :) i built my own computer then got OEM win 7 (as its cheaper) and i still OC and stuff :) mail me if you got questions

Hello,

I have my 620 running at 260X13 with RAM upped to 1.7 volts from 1.65 and the timing set to 7-7-7-20 (OCZ recommends 9-9-9-20 As you suggested I adjusted the HT and NB to as close to default as possible and the RAM speed to just under the default . It runs for at least 4 hours on Prime95 without errors. Max temps (Everest) 59 CPU, 66 NB. Of course, nothing I do ever stresses the system like Prime95. What do you think?

the speedo/tach is a gadget in vista and 7 to monitor CPU and memory usage. The little white windows on the side are a feature of PC Probe II, i believe it only works on ASUS boards, but you can give it a try
