se passer isn't a dr mrs vandertramp verb, however, it does use être as its auxiliary for the passe compose. Also, you forgot the accent on retourné at 0:35. otherwise, its a really great study tool.

Really liked the music. Who did that? Yeah, there are several problems with the written text unfortunately. Any plans to change that? I'd like to use this with my students but am afraid to until those are corrected. Of course they could just not watch, I guess. grin. And yes, a few of these verbs can take both avoir or être. @adelrosario67 A lot of these can do this, but there's a definite rule to go by if you want to determine whether it should take etre or avoir in the passe compose. Basically, if it has a DIRECT OBJECT, it will take avoir. In your example, "J'ai passe une bonne journee," une bonne journee acts as the direct object. If there is no direct object, however, it will always take etre.
