  • 3D Vision is so underrated, I've talked to so many stupid ignorant people, that seem to think the "3D" they are seeing in games is the same 3D you would see with 3D Vision glasses, lol what a joke these people are, they have no understanding of what proper depth it, they have no grasp of how the brain works, and how it receives two different perspectives and combines to create a three dimensional world.

I'd love to see someone make a video explaining the difference.

  • Right. Common mortal fails at neuroscience. That said, I feel real 3D (depth) isn't something everyone enjoy the same for some reasons. Some people doesn't see the point at all. Just like some people doesn't enjoy music that much, the same goes for 3D and visuals in general.

  • it's actually not hard to understand, your two eyes combined create depth. That's not too difficult, at least it shouldn't be.

3D is one of those things that people take for grantit, like most ppl don't look around themselves, and go "Holy shit, look how much this cup sticks out at me!!"

were use to it, and so people think it wont make a difference in games.

but if lived your whole life with one eye, then suddenly got another eye, that would be like going from 2D to 3D in games.

  • the difference in playing games in 3D vs playing games in 2D is big. You can LITERALLY approximate distances between objects, even without a reference point.

for example I could put an object in front of another, & cover one eye, while I can't see a difference in distance when looking straight on, common sense tells me that because the one object blocks the other, it must be in front & closer.

This is how games are played today

but with using both eyes, I can SEE the difference in distance.

  • So, being able to see the difference in distance really does add to the immersion, and make it more like that of the real world, and how we view objects in relation to other object to create depth. :-)

Like I said, it's like living your whole life with one eye covered, and then suddenly uncovering it.

What we would take for granted, you would be amazed by.

right now most gamers got one eye covered :-)
