I watched this when it first aired back in 1997 - I remember the caption "Real Name: John Cheese". The implications of the New York/Paris footage were lost on me at the time, but having read Chris Evans' recent book it's amazing to see the footage that goes with the story. Crazy times indeed.

yeah ive also read chris's book , i could'nt put it down. The bit about them all flying out to N.Y on concorde to hand deliver johns script was hilairious & then Danny Baker breaking his ankle , i was crying - soooo funny , love you chris evans, GREAT BOOK!!!
john was acting..if u read chris's book..john wrote sum of the script for the show..which also happend to be a trip to new york and paris by chris and the gand..very funny ..and chris book is a fab book
@cakesfairy If you watch part 3 of the interview he explains it. His father was actually called Cheese, and when he joined the Army he decided to put his name as Cleese, so they wouldn't make fun of him. Then after he got out he legally changed his name, so his son John was born Cleese, not Cheese.

I love John Cleese, but why does he say Chris Evan's name at the end of every sentance? That's so weird. Still a funny clip though.
