BAS Air Unit return home

Does anyone know the requirements to be a pilot for the BAS Air Unit?

I'd rather much go into flying for these than commercial piloting.

I actaully work on those four twin Otters. They have been in Calgary, AB Canada, over the summer for some heavy maintenance checks.

What time of the year do they come back to this airport?

The operating season in the Antarctic is mid October to late February/early March. They return to whoever has the maintenance contract at the time which will not necessarily be at Oxford.
