  • so hubbub!! :OO you're talented man!!!

  • Man, you are good! Very talented indeed!

  • The dissonance from 2:58 to 3:55 is absolutely chilling...the first time i heard this part i fell in love, and absolutely nothing has changed from listening to it over and over again...it shakes you to the core

  • Very lovely rendition of my favorite piece of Mozart.

  • Eres realmente bueno!!!! me gustaria saber como le entregas ese sentimiento al piano, Me has ENAMORADO!! thank, bajare todas tus sonatas a mi mp4. mi nombre es Cielo o(^_^)o Peru.

  • nice playing!! if you dont mind i have a pointer to maybe you could play even better....the piece is nice...try not to be too rough on the notes repeated notes...

generally i enjoyed your playing!! one of my fav sonatas as well!

  • Lovely playing....this Mozart piece is one of my favorites. Thanks so very much for posting it.

  • How can you make the "trinos" sound so perfect?? you count how many times are you going to do the repetition of each note??..Btw you dedicate your life only to play piano??

  • this made me weep

  • very good

i like this song , if you have the partitura cantactin with me plis

  • this is my favourite andante by Wolfgang.....it´s full of pain and beauty...and I love it:-( and love Wolfi!

  • would it be alright if i use the audio from this video in my play?

  • Sure! What kind of play is it?

  • Thanks so much! It's a one act dark comedy about a young woman who turns pages for a pianist, but she wants to be the concert pianist. Do you want your name in the programme to be RobinLSL?

  • You don't need to bother with actually crediting me :)

And I wouldn't want my "Internet name" to be featured in a real-life related thing anyway! ...

  • I believe that Mozart wrote this shortly after the death of his mother.

  • it is?

  • My favorite movement and my favorite sonata by mozart ^^

  • Very Good!

I also play this sonata and is one of my favorite peaces.

It's good to find people that walks the same paths. Creates a conection.

  • again i listen, again thanks for playing; it's really good, man

  • man, you bring out the larger overall shape of the piece, you know, that kind of suspense, one hand drawing against the other and things like that, and your voicing is powerful, to me anyway; sounds awesome, am i wrong?; and the middle section, wow, gorgeous; gave me goose-pimples

  • opinion about the recording: The sound generally is good and strong. I wonder though if you couldn't make it stereo and a little higher fidelity. Unless I'm mistaken, when i hit 'HQ', high quality, i mean not that you're particularly bad to look at, but the sound is exactly the same. I just mean that if you have to chose between sound and picture, why not the music then?

  • You're definitely right. I think that the sound quality of my newer videos is a bit better (not sure though) but I really don't know much about how to have good sound quality anyway (and the camera I'm using isn't that amazing either...)

  • i wonder why more marking than usual; maybe he meant for someone else to play it; i think that when he played piece out somewhere, or someone else's for that matter, he was renowned for exquisite delivery and timing; how does one notate one's touch, or countless nuances, being inside the piece with profound understanding and feel for the music?... Anyway, a 'yea' vote from me too

  • very beautiful, just one thing; the first thrill is a little loud

  • Bravo !!!

  • you play so simple, and the beauty.....comes very naturally.....and felt. so many people play mozart artificially and everything is ruined. bravo.

  • agreed :)

  • nice piano :D

    and nice playing!

how long u bin learning to play the piano?

  • long live mozart nice playing

  • so nice! go go! Robin !

  • I don't really here any "huge amount of dynamic markings" but I guess it is OK..

  • no feeling to it, he doesnt seem to be using dynamics either, should be nice and sofft. Its marked with a p at the begininning and hes playing it at same volume as he played the allegro section. playings good though

  • What do you expect with this piece recorded by a dumb camera?

  • 1) I expect not to receive dumb aggressive comments.

    2) The camera may make it seem like I hardly use dynamics, the video is still okay.

    3) The act of recording itself is also very interesting and fun in a way. It also gives me a goal of some sort, and makes me practice better.

  • I searched for this for ages after I'd first heard it. I downloaded a really nice version played by Maria Joao Pires. I must learn it at some point, love the dark bits. Nicely played.

  • very nice, flowing interpretation.

its different to how i wouldve interpreted it though, when i played it for my exam i did it a bit slower.

  • Thanks for the comment!

I understand very well that you might want to play this movement slower! That's actually how I played it at first, but now I think that it gets a bit too long if you don't play it fast enough...

  • yeah i understand what you mean but when i played it slower i really felt i could put much more expression into it, not saying that yours is expressionless at all! but i guess with it being a classical piece too much expression goes against the style... however interpretating pieces in our own way is what makes each playing of the piece unique...

  • oh and is there any possibility of accepting the friend request so i can discuss more piano stuff with you through messages svp?
