I made a drinking game with this clip.

Every time TB fails to take a zone, you take a sip for every soldier killed

Every time TB loses a zone, you take 2 sips.

Every time TB loses a zone with a special (dam, capital, city), you take 2 extra sips.

Every time TB attacks a zone with a single enemy occupant and fails, you take 3 sips.

Every time TB's opponent gets an objective, you finish your glass.

I've tested it with 3 alcoholics. within 5 rounds, all of them were swearing off the booze.

its a shame that these new Risk games dont even come close to the origional PC version. with maps containing over 200 territories and having upto 8 players per game, plus compitent AI.

now all we have is the tiny and cramped 'world map' which has about 50 territories ... it always finishes too quickly.

Defence bonus die is ridiculously overpowered; far better than all the other objective rewards.

Doubling the chance of the defender rolling an unbeatable 6 is simply far too good.

The only major blunder in this title is the inability to set the number of troops you recieve for cards at a fixed number. Risk II allowed you to set it to 5 without it going up the whole game. IMO classic risk with the exponential army growth with traded cards makes the game boring and out of control. After an hour playing every player ends up getting like 60 troops from 1 set of cards.... Rediculous. Does anyone know of a mod or setting to fix this in Factions?

It looks fucking infuriating. The Dice mechanic of that game seems like utter bs. When TB first started playing, I was like "...ooo! This might be worth picking up" and then the dice just bs'd the AIs way to victory. It may be more balanced in multiplayer, but i'd stop playing long before that, because I wouldn't get through basic training.

from this playthrough it seems that the programing for the dice greatly favours the AI. Thats not right, as dice should be inherently random.

@nordicberserk In case you did not notice, the AI got an objective that gave him an extra dice when defending, which makes defending a "little bit" uneven.
