  • impressive from both kids

  • What a comeback

  • The Future of UFC! Hahaha... Please, just be better than the adults of today. :) (better persons, I mean.)

  • come on guys there kids. ronan and kids like him our teh future. and at his age, hes very good. certainly wish i started at his age

  • how can so many people give thumbs down ratings to this kids BJJ video, but give so many thumbs up to bs videos on youtube. It proves the mentality in this country is flawed.

Pretty impressive they can do that at such a young age!

  • this kids are bad ass

  • What weight class were these kids?

  • @daleroyalswin It's been a while, I think they were in the 60-70 lb. division.

  • do u get any prize or award for winning

  • @ss3firespirit

He got a 1st place medal for winning all 4 of his fights.

  • Great video. Keep them in the sport. It can do nothing except good things for them. Confidence goes a long way in a child life. Its amazing to see all the young talent coming up in the sport!

  • why is this featured?

  • Why not?

  • @SERB98 well it's just of a kid fighting. Usually featured videos are major stuff. I would be extremely surprised if one of my vids got featured, cuz honestly my videos arent very good.

  • because it haves some many views and comments

  • Are the submission ages of BJJ and Judo the same? I know that in Judo that chokes at 13 and armbars at 17

  • Ronan learned all types of subs at 8. It prob. depends on the instructor.

  • giuatine

  • I think its badass to teach your kids martial arts at this young of an age, i wish my dad had put me in them at this early of an age, cause then you get such a headstart on everyone else, and once you get to be about 17 ( my age ) then you become such a badass , and no one can fuck with ya lol

  • Pretty good bjj, how old was he there? and obviously GomerDose doesn't know what he's talking about, training this early on actually teches kids not to be violent, I started wrestling at 5yrs old and have never got into a real fight and I'm not violent at all

  • I think he was 9. Dito to all except the age.

  • @GomerDose This is a sport just like any other, If these kids would be punching and kick then yes it will be kind of violent. In any case this will still be a sport and they are NOT kicking and punching they are practicing submission so take it easy and go eat you'r tomatoes manure.

    Good job kid!

    Brazilian Jiu Jitsu #1

  • Everyone wants to start their kid young to be the next big hit.

  • Did you?

  • what do the straps on legs mean

  • It's the way for the ref to id the kids. He has corresponding straps on his wrists and when a fighter gets points or advantages he raises the wrist with the color on the ankle of the fighter with 1,2,3 or 4 fingers raised for the # of points earned.

  • way to teach your kids to be violent

  • @GomerDose This analogy may be too much for you, but when you feed your tomatoes manure, does that mean you eat manure when enjoying those tomatoes?

  • Well spoken.

  • you cant be serious buddy, bjj doesnt exploit violence, its comparable to wrestling, no strikes, just fun competition.

  • Exactly! That's why it is much better to not teach your kids how to defend themselves, learn discipline under pressure, self control, confidence or sportmanship. Kids are much better growing up as helpless timid doormats. History has shown this is a winning set of attributes in future leaders of the world!

Gomer, in 40 years, your kids will be mowing the lawn of these fine young BJJ students.

  • I suppose you would rather teach the kids how to be submissive victims.

  • @GomerDose You're an idiot, how is this teaching them to be violent? BJJ is a structured and disciplined art like any martial art, it teaches timing and tactical thinking, you're just upset for the fact this kid could probably make you tap out lmfao.

  • I think it teaches discipline and fighting hand to hand is better than kids using guns and knives ya hater!

  • First of its no different then wrestling, second, its teaching them self to defense. what if a bully was to pick on you kid and try to hurt him would you want your kid to get rocked and have the crap knocked out of him or would you want him to defend himself.

  • Also, its not a violent self defense you don't punch the kid till he bleeds out, you you use joint manipulation and choke holds that cause you to black out momentarily. In these competions (as you can see in the end) if a choke or joint lock is used on you, you can "tap out" signaling you give up or this hurts. Don't leave comments if you don't understand the sport.

  • @GomerDose actually kids involved from an early age in combat sports are shown time and again to be more confident and therefore less likely to look for trouble than other kids. Don't be jealous just because you can't defend yourself.

  • @GomerDose if anything this is healthy violence unlike the violence your kidsprobly participate in like call of duty lol. keep telling your self stuff that while you spoil your kids into fat messes like your self.

  • What a low blow lol.

  • @GomerDose just because your an unathletic fat piece of shit doesnt mean you can tell a parent hes raising his son wrong when hes actually doing a good thing for him.

  • @Larrymonster304 you are my hero

  • damn im in the MMA program and i couldnt even choke out a guy like that (i can kick anyone's ass standing up but i suck on the Ground :( )

  • If ronan is your kid, try having him go lower off the bat! he got taken down way too easy

    Awesome kid though!

  • @Chldrnofbodm Yea, he's learned more wrestling and takedowns since then. this was a couple of years ago and he had only been training a few months. He tended to pull guard too much early on because of the attack opportunities from that position. Thanks

  • dude that was tight.

kid in white has a strong wrtestling base i could tell. good shot. kinda messed himself up trying to pull guard or roll him or sumthin.

these kids are gonna be sick grapplers or fighters when they grow up. what choke was Ronan using? looks like he used RNC type choke from the front. definately wasn't a arm triangle.

  • i didnt realize this mma thing was so popular that theyre teaching kids, kids learnin karate is cool and all, but this? its a lil ridiculous

  • wow good job.. if i go against him he would beat me cause of his skills. btw wut color belt is he in BJJ?

  • Orange with 2 stripes. He got 1 stripe from Rilion Gracie.

  • He tapped quick. That kid looked more aggressive the whole time. Just shows how a little change of position mean the end.

  • Great BJJ for someone so young and in america.

And i thought I started young

  • If any1 got 4 seconds on this video press the HQ button then the video will be 2 minutes.

  • ronan rocks way to go!

  • ok now, was this juzitsu????, cuz i dont think it would be wrestling if they're on there back that long

  • @JSW588

    Just read the tittle dude...

BJJ = Brazilian Jiu Jitsu !!!!!

  • BJJ is brazilian jiu-jitsu

  • HOT

  • do you know how many fouls the ref didnt catch?

  • @Zerosk8er8 Fouls?

  • hey i know the reason!! EITHER TAKE IT OFF HIGH QUALITY OR PUT IT ON 1 way will work

  • yeah good job ronan!!!!! when i have my son he will Definitely be doinf some bjj

  • if its only 4 seconds long, hit the hq button.. it fixed it for me.

  • i got 4 seconds

  • preppin' fo' ufc 300 sumtin'

  • @elmeeone Nope, " Ronan 78 " is MMA training.

  • @SERB98 - Elmeeone was trying to make a joke or something that they will might be the future for UFC saying they are going to be in ufc 300 event.

  • ronan 78 is tha name of tha program?

  • I dont understand why neither of them were wearing head gear

  • @Jtundra10 There is no striking allowed in this type of BJJ tournament. They do wear mouth guards to protect their teeth.

  • if your viewing in HD its 4secs. regular view you get the whole thing

  • good job to the kid in the blue

  • why is this only 4 seconds long

  • @Bubba1080 It's 1 min. 58 sec. long but some people only get 4 sec. for some reason.

  • Just realized if people click the HQ button to turn off HQ, it will be 1:58.

  • If you watch it in HQ its only 4 seconds long. least that is how it was for me.

  • try switching between hq and normal

  • @Bubba1080 take off HQ

  • this is minnesota?? well i live in minnesota!! where in minnesota??

  • @nikowe123 in Ma. not Minnesota.

  • messed up because the advertisement thingy says minnesota

  • Great recovery, both these kids will be a threat in the future.

  • DudeTubeHacker <--- this guy is the reason for the hacks go take it out on him

  • what sport is this

  • any one of those kids will kick my ass and i am 14 lol

  • I'm 23 and I doubt any of those kids would be able to kick my ass.

  • @entrailsgalore They could if you're under 4 ft. 10 in.

  • 5 foot 8 inches, 155 pounds last I checked, 9% bodyfat last I checked.

  • @entrailsgalore Lol. Just kick them before they get close. Even if they do, I doubt they'd be able to do anything but hang onto you.

  • What's with all these haters? They're just kids, and they still have alot of years to learn and improve. I wish I started as young as these kids.

  • your video has been hacked...look at your video image when you go to your channel...it's of an old man....just telling you because fred and shane dawson have been hacked too

  • damn that was pretty cool, now that ufc is big people got kids training bbj like wrestling.

  • you video was hacked that means that someone pretty much took control of your video. the way you can tell is by the thumbnail(the picture that previews your video, its an old asian man.

  • ur vid was hacked

  • @Greeneyeskater93

Hey, I'm over 50 you are going to have to use old person language.

  • people are hacking into youtube which is when u like break into something and they have been putting an old asian guy as peoples picture for there videos and putting videos on the home page

and they did this to yours

  • @SERB98 he said your video got hacked. inotherwords some manipulated it in some way. look at the video's thumbnail. it has nothing to do with your video

  • your video was hacked.

  • Both kids look great, yet Serb98 you come off as a turd with your comments. I bet your kid is going to hate BJJ by the time he is 16 which will be a shame.

By the way do you train? You should it would be more healthy for you instead of posting 60 some videos of your child.

Also I noticed you have not replied to one nice comment someone made about Ronan(dumb name). Yeah, your kid is going to start to resent you soon enough.

  • @alumynabjj

What comments are you reffering to?

Why would he hate BJJ- He loves it.

Yes I train, but Ronan is much better than I. I got 180 comments in 36 hours so could not respond to them. I was busy removing all the comments with bad language and disgusting responses(like yours) His name is Ronan not Ronin. It's Gaelic and is very common in ireland. As to your concern about his resenting me, is that from an experience you had growing up?

  • is this mma or grapling?

  • Grappling

  • im sorry but the white one had 10 times better form, blue started almost standing strait up.

White made that error of holding on and that made him fail.

  • @dylbub

That's funny, because " blue" has a record of about 95 wins to 6 losses in his weight class. He must be doing something right.

  • nope the other kids are just doing things worse

  • FIRST at NAGA W. Palm Beach

    FIRST (3 times) at MassBJJF

    FIRST (5 times) at AGC

    FIRST (2 times) NE NAGA

    FIRST at Team Link (Gonzaga/Alvan)school

FIRST (4 times) at local tournaments

SECOND at COPA FL. against Jr, BB

Oh I forgot, none of these kids know what they're doing.

  • @SERB98

well im very sorry he is young and form is less seen he is very good i never said he wasn't,white just had better form and made a fundamental error that ultimately defeated him

  • What fundamental error?

  • @SERB98

At 1:08 after Ronan got control ,white didnt let go of the head, you never hold on to the head when your on bottem are they throw a half are overly overpower you

  • Actually you may have noticed that Ronan jumped into side control with his head on the opposite side. If his head had been on the same side as his body he could have been choked out fairly easily. The kid on the bottom can be forgiven that he tried to hold the choke in the heat of the battle.

  • I think we would all love to see a video of an interview with Ronan! Just ask him about his training, what he loves best, etc... what do you think!?

  • this is a really good idea!

  • those kids r cool

  • These kids got skills!

    Great bout!

  • the future of mma folks********

  • @AnthonyNews

    Watch Ronan 78 MMA training.

  • Why did the kid tap? Its cool seeing little kids doing this, if they keep with it they will be really good.

  • Little Kid UFC lol

  • ? what kind of choke was that because it definately wasnt a triangle it looked like the kid in the white was choking himself but hey idk it definatly was not tight

  • gulitine wrestling sumbmisson

  • the action here was non stop wow

  • you named your kid after renegade samurai's, you sir...are awesome, just dont start bitching when your kid gets more tail then he can handle

  • Isn't it "ronin" like the movie with DeNiro?

  • omg so cool

  • Nice

  • arm triangle

  • what sport is this?

  • Submission Grappling, well its Brazilian Jui Jitsu but if your not wearing a gi, then its a completely different game because they use it for grips, submissions, position, and more.

  • kids did very well

  • O-o-o-o-ops...

  • I have a 8 year old in wrestling wish they had this for young kids in my area keep up the good work.

  • @rsellen77 Wrestling is great!!!!

  • i do wrestling but i dont do bjj i do grcko romam

  • Its funny watching all of these people criticize this. I'm from northern Iran, and we had martial arts training as part of our schooling, and lots of kids who trained as Pahlavanis (Iranian wrestlers). As much as I love America, I'm 18 years old now, and I see lots of people my age who would rather complain and get fat than train. Start them young like SERB98, you wont have this problem :)

  • Brazilian Ju-Jitsu?

  • Yup

  • this isn't amateur wrestling, this is young MMA. there is no real submission in wrestling, nor would they re-start in the same position as they were in when they went out of bounds.

  • This is not MMA. Do you see gloves and strikes?

    this is technically submission grappling.

  • Smallest 13 year olds ive seen in my life.

  • @cosmicGOON

They aren't 13, they are 9 yrs old.

  • @SERB98 Why does it say Ronan13 oh?!~?!?!? Ogm!?! Im so dumb, nvm lol.

  • lol pretty good, i'm in wrestling myself, never thought there was wrestling for kids.

  • its not wrestling its Ju jitsu

  • @MOY025, Those 2 young boys aren't doing wrestling. They're doing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu style fighting. That's why "BJJ" is in the video headline.

  • Pretty Interesting Wrestling Match. I am also a fan of Wrestling since August 2008 when I became a Zelda Gamer permanently. Also I have a wrestling game for my DS

  • those kids are good.

  • what does submission mean?

  • making a person give up- making them submit.

  • wow. nice moves at such young age.

  • 13 years old and we are training them to do MMA? thats kinda young. im not a person who hates MMA but when young and younger people are getting into the sport its not good.

  • @youbesilly2k5 my dad put me in bjj when i was 3 and im ok

  • @youbesilly2k5 He is 9 not 13

  • No, its very safe. The only danger is brain damage, but thats more of a risk in football and boxing, not so much MMA. Also, this is grappling, there is no striking. They could overextend an arm, but them again kids break their arms trying to stop throws in wrestling. Certainly much much better than football.

  • its also teaching kids self-defense. There is nothing wrong with teaching kids how to defend themselves at a young age.

  • Yes there is!

  • That's not mma, it's submission grappling, no strikes and no chance of brain damage. If kids can't grapple then they should outlaw wrestling, football, basketball and baseball for kids also.

  • BJJ is a sport that is built around discipline and respect.

It is common for many martial artists to begin their training at a young age, and it aids them with not only their performance in academics, but also with being a team player, and can help them be better people.

And as far as your comment as to us being sick for this... you watched it too, so what does that say about your character based on the standard you seem to have set for the rest of us?

  • Now that is good sports manship. They don't get mad at each other, they just call it good game and shake hands.

  • Crap? Go look up Royce Gracie, and some of his fights. He'll make any of your wrestling heroes look like crap.

  • It's Jiu Jitsu. Haha. Read the title. And it's definitely not crap compared to wrestling. Wrestling is okay, but Jiu Jitsu actually teaches you how to finish a fight.

  • man i wish there were sport schools like that in my country :/

  • Marius Zoromskis is from your country. Or do you mean none in your area?

  • Marius Zoromskis is from Lithuania(a small country in Europe)And There ARE Wrestling schools in Lithuania m8

  • lol, I'm surprised you at least know what does the word Lithuania means...

  • fail.

  • this was the most amazing fight i've ever seen.

  • Well it might have been interesting if it weren't 5 seconds long.

  • @godshiva could have been a problem while uploading the vid. ya never know

  • this isnt wrestling its like i dont know

  • brazilian jiu jitsu

  • wow...i wish i started wrestling at that age..=/ when i have a kid imma gett him/her involved into sports at a young age..

  • good match

  • The people commenting this, obviously have no idea what BJJ is.

These kids are incredible for their age.

  • I don't see a difference between regular wrestling and this? :S

  • BJJ is almost the same thing as wrestling, but chokes and submissions are allowed. Also, some of the rules involving throws are much less strict in Jiu jitsu

  • It allows submissions.

  • @MrPetrugi they're not 13 the r younger, it says 13 cuz that was the number of the match

  • Damn that kid dominated.

  • Man.. white shirt had so many opportunities. Good choke for blue shirt in half mount.

  • they are too young for this stuff...some of those techniques can break necks

  • @cypher954 That's why you practice before you go into competitions.

  • i'm not sure about the rules there but where I competed at when I was school age didn't allow certain suplexes and any neck cranks because of potential damage. With those few things excluded it's as safe as any other sport.

  • owned

  • Super Ringkampf
