  • Hey one thing, Those steering wheels were on the wrong side of the car !!

Once again thanks for the post.

    Your rocket video was super!!!

Several things that you have in AUS, That I would like to have. One of them is the Ute (sp?) They are so cool looking I really like the older looking model. I saw them on Mclouds daughters.

Thanks again and best wishes to you.

  • @EarlRausch the steering wheels are always on the wrong side of the care here!

we do all sorts of thing upside down, who else has a $2 coin smaller than their $1, now thats plain stupid!

  • @leokimvideo

Haha you are right, Or perhaps we have it all wrong up here,AUS is a great country we think we have some remote areas here in the US, but it is nothing compared to what you have down there, Government , who knows what they are thinking,we have a 1$ coin that is just a bit larger than a 25c piece, You cant tell what the hell you have in your pocket,

Oh and those road trains you have down there WOW, I would love to see one of those !

  • It looks like the scene in Star Wars episodee 4 when the strom troopers blow up the door

  • i like was this done in america or austraila?

  • This was an American film shot in Australia, back in a time when the Australian dollar was very weak against the USD.

While the AUD is strong the film studios in Australia lay empty.

  • ha, i see, how many american films do you think have been filmed here in Aus. i can think of knowing, superman returns, matrix, charlotes web, ghost rider........ any others Leo?

  • Do you remember the Power Rangers movie...that was shot here, Dark City, Star Wars 5 / 6, Red Planet, Stealth, Wolverine.

Big issue is while the AUD is high against the USD, US productions tend not to come here. They would prefer a low AUD around 50 / 60 cents to the USD

  • wow i have never scene the power rangers movie, if i have i cant remember ha. star wars? didnt know that, im going look up stealth

so it looks like not many US films will be made here anytime soon

  • No, our $ is way too high to be an attractive place to come.

  • ouch

  • Great stuff man!, that delayed fireball was dangerous! the firefighters had already approached when she blew!

  • I find this very intresting.

  • Favourite 5 star

  • This video is cool

  • Pretty cool Leo, did you film this yourself?

  • Hi sparkshot, all you see on my channel comes from my own personal videos, shot by me. In this blast I was very much a onlooker, it was the first time I had seen this method in action. So it was for me look and learn..!

  • I decided to put this up on my front page for a few days. Even though it's not my usual comedy stuff, it is obviously my kinda stuff :)

  • The second test startled the crap outta me!! :-P It just goes to show how one small test can lead to "chicken dancing." LOL, chickenz. XP

  • I love behind the scene stories and insight. I cant buy a DVD/Bluray w/o all of the commentaries & making of extras. Do you work w/ a movie production team of some sort? (another well done vid leokimvid...)

  • I like the chem wash station at the end

  • I love the way you just bring all this insight to the people.

It can sometimes make us think that we ourselves can do it and nearly destroy half of a nearby wood.... (Looks at ground)

    But, great insight nonetheless.

    5 stars.

  • Cool, 5*

  • Boom boom.. :)

  • And Boom, In Australia we say, "Firing a shot", then count 3, 2, 1..Boom!

There should also be a disarms call after the shot, problem is not many actually ever call disarm.

Anyway there is my small rant on pyro safety for the day.

  • I don't know if they broadcast the show 'Mythbusters' where you are, but this reminds me of something they did once... The hosts are former special effect technicians, and do lots of explosions and other interesting things.

At any rate, another fine video. A job well done!

  • Australia does get Mythbusters. I dont know if we're up to date with the newest episodes being shown in the US

  • Here is a interesting fact, the producers of MythBusters are Australians, the pilot was shot in Australia.

This time I have to wave the Australian flag, sorry for doing so.

From Wiki..MythBusters is a popular science television program produced by Australian company Beyond Television Productions

  • produced by Beyond Television Productions, founded by Ian Ingram, who is now based in London, and the current CEO, Mikael Borglund, was born in Sweden. Just have to wave the EU flag here.

  • Ok, you win..!

There is a very curious story behind the pilot of this series, I know the people they used and it's not the two guys you see in the series now, this would make a very interesting tale of the almost famous.

  • cool

  • Very interesting, I enjoyed it :)

  • Hi there

Really awesome vid of the insight of a moment that would happen in the film ^^ Great vid once again Leo ^^

    Euan

  • Great video!

  • Thanks, I am keeping the duration short as I feel short sharp videos work better than anything which exceeds 3 mins.

Even then keeping a viewer for 3 mins can be a struggle.

  • I don't know, I find your longer videos interesting!
