I'm pretty sure it's on a dyno, and it's put into 5th gear and ran until redline to get appropriate readings. It's astounding how fast it picks up at 120....

okay so i wanted to see just how fast this bike was after all the things i have done to it . i was in a bad mood so i found a long steatch of road and gave it all it had i was just wearing sun glasses they blew off at 140ish but im a nut case so i kept on it i ended up at 179mph fully pinned with rev limiter disabled. not too bad. then i went back and got my shattered glassed lmfao. front end was up 1st-3rd when i shifted to 4th she sat down. ahh no stabilizer and never got head shake.
How did you move the rev limiter... I cant get my 2007 FZ1 past 153mph.... I am totally bummed... Love it.... totally stable at 140 and can cruise with 1 hand.

First of all.. you should never max out the RPM meter on a new bike.
87 miles is nothing and you're ruining the engine by doing that.
