The output of the ua101 seems really weak. With a healthy input signal and great headphones,I'm pinned at maximum volume and it still aint loud enough for me. Its like the volume knob doesnt do anything till its at 12:00. Same pretty much for using monitors. Trying to raise the output via the ua101 output sliders just introduces distortion. Im not diggin' it right now. Anyone else find this?
is the latency low in this? imhoping to atleast get it to 7ms(miliseconds) any1 please help? i really want to buy this but im concerned that its usb and the latency in it
The UA-101 does include zero latency, direct monitoring and offers support for WDM / ASIO 2.0 drivers. It also includes an 'advanced' switch for use with hardware devices that features FPT (fast processing technology).
alright thnnks ill probably buy this! BUT WAIT... im running on vista 64bit on a hp laptop with 4 gigs of ram, do you think i will get gud recording latency with this?? please reply thanks!
i am running vista home p. and i had to turn on Task manager and shut down every thing that i could with out shutting down vista to make sonar run smooth the computer is new way more then the prgrams ask for to run them so that is not a factor Vista i'm sure is the only problem once you shut down all the crap that vista has running every thing works great. i like the UA-101 just wish it had 10 tracks i could use. at once i guess i'll have to buy another UA-101
I have this it works prity good. took some time to get it set up and work all the set up problems out once i found where to set every thing to keep it from dropping out it works great i am running Sonar 6 produce. so far we have recorded 8 tracks for one set thats one hour with out a drop out then we saved and set it up for set two then it ran one hour 8 tracks again with no problems the 3rd set it made it till the end then started slipping so the fact that it ran and hour its great
Is it compatible with Windows 7 OS and an AMD Phenom II x4 970 3.5 ghz 6mb quad core cpu?
