Hi SoltauCruiser, that is the 'normal' sound of ambulances in The Netherlands. If the wind is blowing the wrong way, you will only hear the sound when it comes closer thans 50 meters (useless). The old sirens used to be a lot better. The lights have become worse too: were rotating ones, now they're something like blinkers. And now they wonder why people don't react on the approaching ambulances, well you just don't see and hear them as well anymore. But the crew is still excellent.
