I am an Indian but Waqar is the best fast bowler I have ever seen. If he had played for India he would have been the greatest cricketer India has produced after Sachin and I think even at this age he is much better than many fast bowlers in world. Late Bob Woolmer was also a gud exponet of this shot in his days. all in all Miandad never invented this and who actauly did know one knows it for sure.

i truly believe Waqar was quicker in his prime than Shoaib. Reason being I've faced up to 170km/h using a bowling machine.Even if you know where a ball that speed is pitched, the speed puts a limit on foot movement. Waqar smashed batsmans feet more frequently than anyone.

in my opinion waqar younis is much better than wasim akram. wasim is just more hyped up b/c he has more test wickets (414 wickets in 104 matches) vs waqar younis (373 in 87 matches)...look at the stats, had waqar played 104 matches he'd have more than 414 wickets. also b/c wasim is a lefty...if only waqar hadnt gotten those injuries and had played in the 1992 world cup

First of all i must say this is one of the best Waqar Younis videos i'v seen since now on youtube.

Some one was comparing wasim n waqar, i wud say they both were diff technique bowlers. Wasim was tall, medium fast, and used his showlders. While waqar was speedy, his arm action abled him to get more swing as u can see he used to swing his arms untraditionally from side which actually helps in getting more swing . Eg is Lasith Malinga now adays
