I can totally relate to the sadness of lossing a tiger that has been a part of your life. We lost Pandji at our zoo about 6 years ago and it devastated staff and volunteers for months. I still miss him. I am in tears after watching this video. Bless you for what you do.

Yeah he was a cool cat :( Max in the wild 10-12 years, but in captivity you can double this, it's a stress free life, good food on regular basis, no fights, if they get sick they get treated etc... obviously we would like for all our tiger to live a more satisfying but shorter life in the wild than in captivity. My cousin Adam works at longleat safari park (one of the best in the world) and his Tiger there died recently. This is for all the tigers that have passed at longleat and for Buffy.

Oh noes! I know how just you feel. My 19 year old cat just died. It hurts. I can barely watch this. 22 is good for a tiger isn't it? Thanks for giving her a great life there.
But the people at BCR gave him the best they could while he was here. It's all they could do for him, and he seemed content...consider some of the horrible alternatives for a captive animal, like those abominable roadside "zoos".
May Buffy be reincarnated as an animal loving person, like the kind people at BCR.

happier than in the circus, some crappy roadside zoo or at a canned hunt farm. when the sub-human vermin leave wildlife alone, they can go back to their jungles & savannahs. till then, as long as some inbred parasite disease is going to poach (for which his entire village/town should be burned out) then better a rescue centre than a museum. when we do the wise thing & cull about 70% of the excess humanity, talk to me about captive beasts.
I agree with methadone. while not in the wild, I'm sure BCR provided Buffy with a loving, long life which may not be natural but it is still very good. Thank you so much for posting this video.

to bad i didn't see him in person . Most Big cats don't live past 15 years in the wild at best so he had a good life . It's always hard
to say good bye to a friend i lost a few dogs and cats in my time was very hard to lose them . Where was he located ?

"Chuffy Buffy" the most gregarious and handsome tiger I've been privileged to meet! You enjoyed your enrichment items so, but most of all you knew that your mission was to win humans over and in doing so teach them "the right thing" for animals. You are loved universally and will not be forgotten. Go in peace and have wonderful adventures on the other side. Bye bye Chuffy Buffy.

Oh noes! I know how just you feel. My 19 year old cat just died. It hurts. I can barely watch this. 22 is good for a tiger isn't it? Thanks for giving her a great life there.

But the people at BCR gave him the best they could while he was here. It's all they could do for him, and he seemed content...consider some of the horrible alternatives for a captive animal, like those abominable roadside "zoos".
May Buffy be reincarnated as an animal loving person, like the kind people at BCR.

happier than in the circus, some crappy roadside zoo or at a canned hunt farm. when the sub-human vermin leave wildlife alone, they can go back to their jungles & savannahs. till then, as long as some inbred parasite disease is going to poach (for which his entire village/town should be burned out) then better a rescue centre than a museum. when we do the wise thing & cull about 70% of the excess humanity, talk to me about captive beasts.

I agree with methadone. while not in the wild, I'm sure BCR provided Buffy with a loving, long life which may not be natural but it is still very good. Thank you so much for posting this video.

While he was happy and relaxed it still makes me sad when any cat(or any animal for that matter)passes on. He lived a long life for sure.

Touching tribute. Good stuff. Well,just know that while he wasnt roaming wild as nature intended,he did have a life of relative ease and seemed to be happy. What you guys do at BCR is wonderful and I cant say how happy I am that people like you exist in this world. It gives me a little hope for mankind. Beautiful,magnificent and graceful creatures..damn I love cats! Thanks again. One day I may be able to help you guys. Take care.
