Im after a cheap semi auto for rough shooting and the hatsan seems to be the only thing you cat get new for £400. Some people say they experience feed problems, have you had any of these? or any other issues?
Ive got a Hatsan as well, had it for about 5 years, its never failed to fire and only had 1 mishap with ejection - the extractor claw was gummed up. apart from that - for the price a great gun, they use the same chokes as the Beretta Mobil system. I've also got 4 berettas, 2x Silver Pigeons, 2x AL391's, 12 & 20b in both
The Escort is used for lamping / loan gun for Clays. as said in a previous post - anything from 2 3/4" 24g 8's to 3 inch 50g BB's. its chews them up and spits them out.

I have an Escort P as a backup for my expensive Fausti clays over/under. The Escort has had 5,000+ rounds through it and only failed to feed once -- on a badly bent reload. Mine cost two hundred bucks new. It functions beautifully and I don't think I will be able to kill it in my lifetime. Escort is a great value only because it works reliably. The chokes work as advertised, too. If you want a shotgun that just plain works, this is it.
Hi, i bought some 28g fiocchi cartridges and was given a box of 2 +1/2 inches not 2 + 3.4 inches, just wondering, seeing as it is proofed for 3" will is safely fire a 2 and a half inch cart?

that gun is ilke a knock off of benelli super black its crappy nice video but id like to see the clay targets break im a pro shooter almost sponored so think about seeing the clay! thanks!
Hit the clay with first shot, then just fired next two rounds off at the broken bits just to make the video interesting, it was the practice stand, not a real competition target.
I own the same arm as this, it is a very good gun for the money, the action is smooth and it feels well built. i was able to pick it up new for £200 (because of a small scratch on the scope rail that i touched up with matte air fix paint anyway). This makes this the cheapest addition to my cabinate and my most favored.
uve probs got it sorted now but i got my license the other day ... it needs to be a teacher, lawyer, postmaster, bank mangaer, member of parliament, doctor, someone like that ,....cant remember them all ....best bet is to get the doctor to do it, but they do charge sometimes.
anyway,...if u havent got ur license yet hope this is of use.
It tells you which class of people can sign your photos on the licence application form....., MP, doctors, clergymen etc.....proffesional proffesion people.
since you live in USA why don't you just go for a benelli lool? i tried to get a benelli from the states but you have to be a like a state resident or some crap like that.
jammin1975, yep you are correct, although I could do with using three sometimes !
It was filmed on the practice/learners stand purely to try out the slow motion feature of my new phone, normally shoot a Beretta 682, but seem to do better at the moment with this bargain basement model !

Save your money until you can afford to purchase a gun that has good notoriety and resale value. Such as Browning, Beretta, or Remington.

I know here in the u/s that the escort semi auto is a cheap/low priced semi auto. How do you find it?
GT03235 2 years ago
Unbeatable, never had any problems with it, cycles 28 gram light loads up to SG without needing anything apart from occasional cleaning.
If you accept that it isn't as pretty as a Beretta, and just want a cheap reliable gun then you will not find better value.
Particularly as it comes with a three year warranty in the UK.

@GUMN99 How can i fire 3 magnums out of my escort semi auto?! do i have to swap the piston
ChanBAG95 1 year ago
@ChanBAG95
As long as it is proofed and chambered for 3" loads, it should cycle them without needing to do anything, just load and shoot.
Mine cycles them fine, but tbh I don't use them much, too expensive !

that's impressive, you can clearly see spent shells leave the chamber..
Gun doesn't eject with much energy though,
as you started filming i just thought
the Viewty was right in front of the ejection port.

How do you like your shotgun? I got a pump-action Escort, which I love
bigMikeRomero 4 years ago
Hi Mike, I like the gun just fine, it was bought to use as a "guest gun" when I took friends shooting, but they didn't like it.
Guns are much cheaper in the States than they are over here, I paid $550 for the Hatsan, and that is a really cheap gun over here !
Had everything from SG loads down to 24gram number 9's through it and it hasn't jammed yet ( about 1200 rounds ).
GUMN99 4 years ago

Very good but if you use a semi auto, you should really only use the 2 shells. The same as everyone else.
