  • Good drill at the end, but the "lego-head-guy/girl" could be more aggressive and really try to stay on the "victim".

  • He is trying to...That's the whole point of the exercise

  • awesome

  • "BUMP! Oh that's nice"

  • why is there alot of kicking in the "groin" it gives me the creeps just imagining my balls get kicked like that.

  • Thats exactly why we kick the groin. Reality Groundfighting is exhausting and much less strategic and technical than cage fighting. As such one must focus on striking to vital areas of the body to slow down and incapacitate the attacker as quickly as possible.

  • Thanxxx BillKipp, I was looking how to get out from the ennemi "on top of me" position. Of course we can never be 100% skilled when it happens 4 real but your clip helps.

  • The main thing in groundfighting is don't end up on the ground in the first place. If you do, jab the eyes, the groin, kick and scratch your way out. Real groundfighting is not sport JJ where you need complicated technique. Having the mindset a "cat who doesn't want to be held" and some simple positioning, fighting, and escape skills is the best way to go and can be learned quite quickly.

  • well said, street is street

  • This fighting style originated from a couple of priests who had alot of spare time..They are now living happily in San fransico..bahahaha

  • lol funny vid

  • Mr. Kipp, I train in the Seattle area. Is there any training of this type in my area that you would recommend?

  • Sorry for the late response. The closest training center to you is in the Tacoma area, however I believe they may not have any Bulletman at this time. Sorry I can't help you more and hope your hip gets better.

  • Hey, no problem, I imagine you are a very busy man. The reason I asked was I live in an isolated area. We have the usual mcdojos. I have some good(my opinion)training, but there is no adrenal stress training around here, and more important no real self defense training, i.e. awareness based, with emphasis on both before and after violence. I work in the security field, and find that much of the things I read about I was doing on my own, but have difficulty teaching. Areas like boundaries. Ideas?

  • Why don't you email me and I'll toss some ideas your way on how we might make something happen.

Thanks and be safe out there,

    Bill K

  • That is the one escape that every system has thanks to BJJ. I find in sad that this very, very basic move that he is doing would not work the way he is doing is. He is leaving out some very key points. All you BJJ guys out there know what I am talking about.

  • This is correct. He needs to get base rather than lie sideways in the guard, leaned way forward trying to feed powerless strikes. He also needs to be able to cycle it with a shrimp hip escape as a failsafe--no one escape works more than half the time, but two or three cycled together will likely be successful.

  • lol what a homo

  • i swear they are humping sorry for this commetn but it looks wrong

  • hahhahaa... kneeees, kneees, kneees

  • Great video clip. This was a great way to explain how to respond.

  • It's just a BJJ sweep and flurry.

But me likey big head. :))

  • excellent self defence
