my last flight the elevator was twitching up all of a sudden so i descided to bring it down... i have about a 50 meter runway. but the plane on min throttle (any lower would cut the engine) it was going about 15 20 miles and hour way to fast to land. i was heading straight for my dads van, so i up the throttle, then pull up! missedit by a few inches! then i lost cencetration crashed! could you helpp me on how to land? i have tiger trainer 40!should i make a bigger runway??
You have to ensure that you are landing into wind.... If you land with wind the idle will still be coming in fast and with only 50mtrs you will overshoot! Another thing you need a trainer to be well balanced as a beginer so you can throtle right back and still glide in nice and level. (tip move the battery up or down the plane to balance.
I've had two of the TT Trainer 40's... great planes. I put a .46 sized engine with a tuned pipe in it... that thing could go vertical no problem, loop at half power, and do mean low level passes! Your takeoff was pretty scary. I'd look for better, flatter ground with no weeds. Guaranteed crash on takeoff or landing if you fly regularly off of a surface like that.
