  • @stasisnu18 bem, obrigado

  • this is a keeper thanks !, very well made video. oh they look just like my grand ma,s torrts

  • I had to sift through a bunch of crap videos before I found this one...so easy!! Thank you :)

  • I have seen recipes around where they do not use any oil/margarine/shortening at all. What is the difference?

  • Perfect! Thanks very much for sharing. =)

  • why i cant play this?

  • I preffer the traditinal method... They dont need butter or a rolling pin... They just use their hands and make them faster, thinner, better, tastier

  • the Maya never needed cooking spray.

  • What a neat alternative to a tortilla press! I will buy some waxed paper and try this soon. Btw add an apostrophe to It's...great video!

  • very nice. thank you.

  • Love the lid to make em round! HAve you tried without cooking spray?

  • how many tortillas can you make with these?

  • @moonshinetears I think 6 cause she made/prepared 6 for these quantities of ingredients.

  • THANK YOU!!!

  • Very nice. Thanks for doing this video. I wonder if a tortilla maker would work as well for wheat flour tortillas as it does for corn tortillas? Oh, and don't worry about the pan. It means you actually USE it, LOL!

  • how much water? you just put water

  • you have a great skill in the kitchen ! thanks for this share & congrats ;-)

  • you have a great skill doing in kitchen ! ;-) congrats & thanks for this share

  • Down in the barrio (Houston) they use real lard to make tortillas. Forget the cardiologist. They are so good. I'm not very adept at rolling tortillas. Mine look like the State of Florida.

  • @lovablecurls: I totally agree with you. What a bunch of critics. Her pan is just seasoned real well. I was amazed when I saw more than one comment about the freakin pan. Maybe those who have a problem with the pan should pitch in and buy her a new one, if it bothers them so much

  • You don't have to explain yourself to ihateyourstupidass!. I mean look at the name. A very negative person. Your pan is obviously used and therefor shouldn't look perfectly clean. Thanks for taking the time to share this video to everyone.

  • u didnt add baking powder to the flour.will the tortillas still be soft without baking powder???

  • This sounds like good Depression era food. Real cheap if you don't mind a little effort. My husband gave me the idea.

  • Great video, thanks for the instruction! Very clear. Btw, you should never use a metal utensil in a non stick pan! It will ruin it...

  • the black specs is not the teflon coming off,its the excess flour burning in the pan. it will make specs on your tortillas. i know because this happens also in my cast iron pan when I make them. just saying..

  • great video....... idk why everyone is making comments on the way her pan looks it does not matter we all have those pans and skillets that we keep for a while and they look a little worn out....the video is on how to make tortillas not how to get negative comments on a pan

  • eww that pan is NOT clean, it left all these black specks all over the tortilla, yuck and if its loose teflon then you shouldnt be cooking with that pan

  • Thanks for making this video. Well done. I will give this recipe a try.

  • I wonder what the cooks did many, many years ago before there was cooking spray. She sprays twice I noticed. Really tho...what did they use before a can of cooking spray was invented??

  • @ohpineapples the original recipe in that time they use the pork lard, (grease pork)the one they use to make the tamales and carnitas.

  • @ohpineapples they put enough pork lard in the mix of the dough so when they cook they don't stick to the pan.

  • very bad recipe :(

  • @marissatorr Hello = ) I'm trying SO hard 2 find a great flour tortilla recipe.Did U try her recipe?I was just wondering because if it's no good I won't try hers.I'm going 2 the store in 30 minutes 2 buy flour 2 make (someone's) recipe &I noticed U just posted 17 hours ago&was wondering if U could get back 2 me before I go 2 the store. If not, please respond anyway.(Thanks!) I will find that perfect torilla out there somewhere.Do U no how 2 make them?My Aunt used 2 make Thick, soft great tortillas

  • nice one thanks for this video :)

  • Thanks!

  • Why it has to be so many steps!! looks to complicated, and much mess

  • Clean that pan.

  • @ihateyourstupidass Lol, yeah the pan wasn't actually dirty... I use it for everything and its just badly scraped. The outside used to be light blue but it got kinda stained etc.

  • @ItsTheSnapShow I would eat your dirty, filthy tortillas.

  • People who don't cook are the ones complaining about the pan.

  • @ItsTheSnapShow What kind of flour...self rising or all purpose ? Thanks :)

  • @ItsTheSnapShow hi how long can i keep the cooked tortillas and what is the best way??? Thanx

  • @ihateyourstupidass i hate your stupid ass

  • @Thycid Good one.

  • @Thycid Retard.

  • @ihateyourstupidass stupid ass

  • Very clever idea to make perfectly round tortillas..I didn't think the music overpowered the speaker...Was a great video!

  • The music over powers the speaker

  • i find these recipes still do not make them like the ones you get from chipottle and the ones you buy ready made. I find these recipes make them less floppy when rolling them with ingredients.

  • @210482fmj I've made tortillas quite a few times and have a hard time keeping them soft enough to roll into burritos. However, if once you take them off the grill, place them in like a gallon sized zip lock bag and that keeps them softer. Perhaps I"m rolling my out too thick and that's why I can't use them for burritos.

  • @cielynne1 I use a paper plate to put my cooked tortillias in,inside a zip lock bag with a paper toel. They are soft and stay hotter.

  • a very good vidio to learn cooking tortillas,

but is it possible to make a tortilla with cornflour also?

    with grretings

    reiner

  • I also like the music.

  • Great idea with the using of the pot cover, to make perfect round. Never thought of that.

  • @Jilly1927 You don't really need to use a lid to make perfect tortillas. I think just leaving them makes them more authentic. Not meaning to sound negative, but this is the only time I've seen someone use cooking spray for them. Usually there is enough lard in the mix to not need any spray. Rather than using oil, I'd use lard. But everything else looks right on.

  • thanks now i can make perfect tortillas
