Yume Nikki - Getting to the strange planet

if you're having trouble making the bed work, you can just stand next to the bed and become the cat and meow and the moon and stars will reverse direction. just keep meowing until the moon is at the very bottom corner and quickly get in the bed and it should work. to get to the planet the moon must be visible in the window. i've found this to work much better than just going in and out of the room.

@norwegianshyguy According to TVtropes, some sort of an apocalypse took place on the blue martian's planet and only he survived by taking shelter in the boiler room. He's crying because he misses his friends and family being the last of his kind. And his youngling was sent to Earth in the pond near the Witch effect tree, and only comes out once in a while.

You know, one thing I found out, as at the time of this comment I'm doing it now, if you stand at the small hole (Where you need midget to get into) at the end of the path on "Mars" and use the cat's attract, these strange things come flying in in the background. I haven't figured out if they do anything more than that but I've kept "catting" and more of them seem to appear. Random chance I assume 'cause not every one of the cat taunts does it.

y'know, an easier way to get to the blue hand stairwell is to get right into madotsuki's bed in her dream apartment. :) you don't have to go all the way to snow world.

You probably weren't paying attention in the beginning of this video where I tried the bed in the dream apartment and it didn't work. :P

The beds in the dream world will take you to the stairs randomly (sort of, as in you can't just try the same bed over and over again in the same dream). The one in the snow room seems to almost always work if you go there immediately after starting the game up for some reason.

The name came from opening the game in RPG Maker and seeing character sheets. Almost every single character in the game is named.

This has to be false, as the only folder with anything resembling Character Sheets is the "CharSet" folder, each of which contains multiple sprites of several characters/objects and appear to be named for the maps they appear on.

The blood stain at 1:13-1:17 nearly proves the fact that Madotsuki did not commit suicide, as it is the same as the one in the credits. In fact, I believe that, in the end, she escaped from her dreamstate, went out to confront the world for what it really is, and to stop being a hikikomori.
