How to fix acceleration problems

My scooter starts up like a champ but once I hit that throttle it dies

@starshinenz Check the carb. and filter for gaps or leaks that air can sneak through. Hope this helps!

ok hey one way. to fix the problem... if the lever is in the neutral ( up ) position put it down and you should be runin.. the lever should be next the the carb on your scooter.. me everytime i strt my scooter and forget to pull the lever down i dies.. then i strt and pull down and works great try it.. i bet i work.. your engine should work fine now , but only if you didn't have a problem before. is this a joke?

Is that a 50cc motor or 25cc?

Also my 50cc scooter is a 'bike-type' scooter. I don't see more than 1 screw.

CAN ANY ONE HELP ME. I GOT A 2 Stroke 90cc Dinli BEAST 7.7 horse power. IT STARTS AND RUNS BUT WEN I HIT THE THROTLE IT SHUTS OFF I CLEANed THE CARB AND AIR FILTER TWICE. ITS LIKE THERES NO POWER COMING FROM THE ENGINE.

hey i tune the carb like 1.5 turns out and my scooter flys i tuned my carb and like redone the motor my scooter runs great and ya some people forget about priming its sorta like weed wackers

I have a gas scooter and it does not reach its full speed, What is wrong?

scooter is an XG-505 i replaced spark plugs and cleaned carburetor, also a blackish green fluid comes out of exhaust after I hit full throttle. Before it used to go about 25-28 now it goes 15-18. When I reach its full speed now (at 18) the engine kind of sputters and you can tell it can reach higher rpms

what are your thoughts on goped vs. bladez? I am buying used, so the discontinuation of bladez gas scooters is irrelevant. It seems that there are more aftermarket parts for the goped. Is this true?are there any models that you recommend from either manufacturer?

The carb that is being adjusted in the video is a Chinese carb. Not Japanese or American. American and Japanese engines do Not have this screw!
