I have another solution to the red rings of death see the towel trick didnt work for shit by turning it on and letting it over heat so i cooled it down i put 3 towel around the xbox took out the harddrive and then put my xbox in the freezer for about 10-12 minutes and it worked i didnt get the rrod for about 7 months and i still have the same one now

Because it will probably stop working very soon, if you do this again the heat will crack the solder points on the system and it will be irreparable. Just send it back and get it fixed.

The elite is the exact same system as the others, only you get more cables and accessory's out of the box; it offers nothing in the hardware above the rest.

All of the new ones have had a fair amount of revisions applied, so they are a lot more reliable, use less power and cooler.

No, it will fix it for a few days then it will happen again, if you do this a few times the solder on the board will wear out and your console will be unusable.

By the way, new consoles are fine, especially ones bought this month; most of them are the Jasper revisions, basically making them quieter and cooler.

im starting to hate all the towel RRoD 'fix' videos because it does not work only for a short time and the RRoD will just come back and you will do it again to get it working again and when you keep doing it you make it worse and soon your 360 wont even start any more and cause more problems becaues your heating up everything else in the 360 there are videos on youtube that shows people opening up their 360 and fixing the problem on the inside find those videos ( if u have no warranty).
