  • Just made a stirfry with shrimps using this rice substitute... Tasted good! What a gread alternative, thx!

  • You're a talented dude, props.

  • Can you preserve the cauliflower by freezing it?

  • Absolutely amazing ... you are incredibly creative. As an older woman I HAVE to cut the white, starchy, carbs. and this is such an amazing idea. I can even see mixing it with 1 or 2 T. of cooked brown or black rice per serving, for those who still want a tiny bit as they transition to this lifestyle. Keep up the great work, son! God bless.

  • this is so genious, gonna try this later!

  • Damn bro! I've recently starting taking up a low carb diet, I already loss 40 pounds and want to lose 10 more and these recipes are bomb and delicious! Thank you soooo much bro :)

  • I love white rice, as it is part of my culture, lol! That said, I don't mind having a white rice substitute; at least I'll have a carb of some sort to compensate running out of white rice before I buy another sack. This video is a huge help =D!

  • Please give the video a like if you don't mind! I can't tell you all how much I appreciate it.

  • ive always done this to immitate mashed potatoes, but good idea for a rice sub! :) awesome! thank u!

  • @Akira654 tried it didnt work to well, came out like mash potatoes lol

  • YOUR FUCKING AWESOME !!

  • I just made this and it was actually really good! It tasty carby and delicious!

  • hey michael! do you think that fasting does make a big difference in losing fat? I've come across many diets like "Eat Stop Eat" (not advertising. just an example) that suggest it a support it strongly. what's your opinion? great vids!

  • @Siddhant230694 well ive been doing hiit training for about six weeks and weight training to, ive lost 25 pounds so far and 7 percent body fat, its not water weight because mine increased by 5 percent , and my muscle percentage increased by 3 %

  • @NikeSBNikka23 lol it takes year to gain muscles

  • @BoneBeast i didnt say i gained muscle like weight gain my percentages just went a little higher

  • @leanbodylifestyle

What about slowly gaining muscle whilst losing fat?

  • did you add water to the cauliflower in the microwave??????

  • That is amazing! I never would've thought of putting cauliflower in the food processor.

    Thanks!

  • This is a fantastic video, what a great idea,I'm allergic to rice this gives me some great ideas about meals that I now can eat.

  • Wow, how did you open the cauliflower bag so fast?

  • thank you.... currently obssesed with your vids :)

  • Hey mike or someone who knows fitness. I am training for a pushup test and I have got the training part down, I was just curious about the diet. In order to get the most reps of standard pushups would it be better to be very lean like Mike or be a bit more bulky like Mike Chang (of six pack shortcuts) who is a little more bulky. I don't mean to insult either of you guys but I think Mike Chang has a little more muscle and fat, but would that little more muscle lift the little more muscle and fat?

  • Hi Mike,

A tip to make cauliflower taste more like bread is to add some nutritional yeast to the cooked cauliflower, besides that it just adds more taste and nutrients :)

    Best always

  • Great Idea Michael, 11 out of 10!

  • great video buddy

    your boy, Will

  • I love rice! I should try this! I also don't like cauliflower, but you said even if you don't you will!

  • white rice is fine on a diet, it actually has a less cals than brown rice. I like your recipes but the bro-science is killing me

  • Hey Michael , would a blender work? thanks great video

  • Hey I have a really good recipe for 'fried' rice using cauliflower, as well as macaroni and cheese if you're interested. Let me know :)

  • @leanbodylifestyle so if u want to build muscle and lose fat how many times a week should u do cardio? like how many times do you do it personally

  • "Ricing" all the cauliflower. LMAO love it

  • Im actually getting so good at this, I already knew it would be made out of Cauliflower.

    YAY!

    - Raw

  • how many carbs is in 1 cup of this?

  • This has nothing to do with this video, but i finally went and bought some truvia and some unsweetened baking powder. I went home and put one spoon full of each with some vanilla protein powder into one cup of greak yogurt and WOW. It was amazing that i could eat it guilt free. Thanks a lot man.

  • YOUR VIDEOS ARE THE BEST THIS IS WHY I SUBSCRIBE SUCH AMAZING IDEAS THANKS MAN!

  • i'm a firm beleiver in calories in-calories out... a calorie deficit is ultimately what is required for weight loss. I do agree that brown rice is a better option than white rice because of the longer digesting, slower release of energy over a longer period of time. This cauliflower idea is great because this veggie has a lower calorie count by volume than rice. So you can sub these onto the plate and in higher volume and still reduce calories. Rice aint bad. Too many calories is. :D

  • @reptilianskinA calorie is not a calorie... if you lose weight eating simple carbs, candy, and junk your body will most likely lose your muscle mass and you might get flabby but I think genetics play a role on that but the only reason a calorie would be a calorie is because a calorie approximates the energy needed to increase the temperature of 1 kilogram of water by 1 °C but chicken and snickers are not the same i'm sick of hearing that. foods like that have a different genetic makeup.

  • @Liftfforglory211 True. Chicken is healthier than snickers. protein is a lot better for building muscle than fats and sugar. But if ur fat and ur goal is weight loss, and ur current calorie req'mt for weight maintenance is 1800 cals and u want to run a deficit for weight loss do u think ur body cares which macronutrients u trim? If ur 40 lbs overweight u think ur body will burn muscle not fat on a reduced calorie diet? It's when ur lean like michael that u have to worry about muscle burn.

  • @reptilianskin true true

  • @reptilianskin It's not quite that simple unfortunately. With simple carbs such as white rice/bread/pasta, it's quickly absorbed and stored unless you burn it up within an hour or two of consuming it. Whereas you can burn complex carbs throughout the whole day. Plus, simple carbs/refined sugars cause an insulin spike and trigger cravings.

  • @wadehjb I totally agree that fibre and whole grains breakdown slowly and provide a slow and steady release of energy. I think they are a healthier option as well with longer term health benefits. But if you do not watch how many calories you consume, you will gain weight on healthy whole grains also. A whole plateful of healthy spelt or whole grain pasta is a lot more cals than a portion of pasta (1/4 cup to 1/2 cup uncooked). Calorie-wise I opt for small baked potato (white or sweet).

  • man you must spend a lot on food.

  • There's a lot of dicks that would dislike you trying to help people

  • Can u do a review on your protein?

  • Which grocery stores do you shop at???

  • regular rice isin't healthy ;o?

  • What do you do for a living?

  • @StuarttStewie - I'm going to be a sophomore in college this coming year, so I'm not really employed. I personal train some people to make some money, but being a student is my main job I guess.

  • @leanbodylifestyle Hey whats your major?

  • @leanbodylifestyle congrats to you for making such popular videos while in college. im a junior and just got into making youtube videos on my weight loss channel. but you are seasoned at it :)

  • can u plz make a rlly good cardio excerise video, i have abs i just need them to stand out more

  • Great one! Mix with a bit of plain yoghurt, curry paste/powder and chicken and you've got yourself a nice healthy curry.

  • @wadehjb yum, maybe u should make a video :) I will try that

  • @WhiteLaura I just tried it for the first time with this cauliflower rice. Worked brilliantly and when it's all mixed together it's exactly like rice. :)
