Hi I have owned a 3/4 complete SVS 175 for about 40 years and if you know anybody who wants one to restore I could be interested in selling it.The engine still turns over and has good compression. I Last rode it about 20 to 25 years ago.The bike is in Kent
I had an Allstate MoPed as a child so you can guess my age fairly close. I still miss that baby and was surprised how many are still around and restored. I'll be watching for your new vids, she's beautiful. Thanks for the reply and good luck, it must be nice after all that work to just sit back and look at a masterpiece.
@sky12066sed3 This machine is used fairly regularly in classic events and club runs but obviously I look after it after all the effort that was put into it. At least it was all my own work barring the wheel rebuild and rebore. interesting to say the least. There are not many of these bikes in the UK, so the high number of hits on the short video must be from around the world? I have a pal with a 250 Allstate, and Puch mopeds are quite common with the moped nuts? I guess you are in the US?
hi, It took 1 year, all 2007? It had not been run since 1968, and left open to the weather. All the brightwork was shot but fortunately Puch -Wieser in Austria helped. Since then in 2009 I had bad piston problems due to crap fuel, but now going better than ever.
Obviously I would be interested in having it, have you a price in mind and what is missing?
Thanks for your call
