  • could you make a tutorial??

  • Tutorial for the love of god

  • amazing job, id love to know how you got such an awesome quality recording? im trying so hard to record my own songs but im having a difficult time trying to figure out a way to get quality like this.

    again well done.

  • @Enjoiskater thanks a lot!

well.. first of all: do you have an acoustic or a digital piano?

  • @acuity1980 digital, i have a Yamaha dgx-530 (portable grand)

  • @acuity1980 Im curious as well.. From what I understand you don't use MIDI, you use line out/in? And then add the echo sound in Audacity?

Oh and also, I like your version a lot better than the original and the sound is just amazing

  • Unreal! Stupendous!!!!!

  • @tilden02 thanks for the compliment :)

  • This is very beautiful & one of my favourite pieces of music.

  • @Jessaqua68 thanks, and same here. it´s one of my favorites :)

  • this is amazing. sounds so dam good.

  • @vcasted thank you !

  • Really well done....I don't recognise even one mistake. Perfect! Thanks for this contribution!

  • @FfrankkkSs99 I thank YOU for watching and commenting! very much appreciated :D

  • How 2 people were able to dislike this, I'll never know. Ludovico Einaudi is my favorite modern pianist, and all of his songs bring me to tears. My sister is trying to learn Andare, and I have learned Bella Notte and Nuvole Bianche. YOU DID AMAZING!!!! <3

  • @LizaLoveful different people, different opinions. maybe jealousy, i don´t know. I don´t even try anymore to analyze why people dislike videos ^^

Thank you very much for the comment, Einaudi´s pieces are amazing! i am about to learn Bella Notte btw, you can find Nuvole Bianche somewhere in my uploads ;)

Best wishes to you and your sister :)

  • Very exceptionally done! and I love the 3 candles!

  • @tilden02 thank you for watching and the nice comment :)

  • Wooooooooooaw ! That's so PERFECT !!!!!!! You're awesome ! Could you pleeaaaaaaase make a tutorial for this ?! You'd be the first one to make a tuto for this incredible song... And your interpretation is brilliant .. !!!

  • @firepingouin Thank you tons for the compliments! But as i already told many others before, i don´t have time and patience to make tutorials >.< i´m sorry.

  • @acuity1980 Ohhhh come on :(... You've already done that for some other songs.. This one is woderfl ! ^^ Couldn't you even make another video with a better view of your hands ? :)

  • @firepingouin yeees i did that for 2 or 3 songs, but that weren´t tutorials either. Just played slower with a view from top. It took the people who requested these videos a LOOOOT of convincing work xD

  • @acuity1980 Oj okat, but if you do the same kind of video with andare it would be great ! :). No one has made a tuto for this music and your cover is probably the better on youtube for andare ! ^^

  • at 2:32 i died 0,0

  • @Skorndar really? ^^

  • @acuity1980 That part was so wonderfull, i almost got a heartattack!

  • @Skorndar oh, you think so? ^^ well, thank you :D

my personal favorite part of the song is 1:20 to 1:41. don´t know why ^^

  • I am sitting here, i am stoned, i am listening to this.. and i have to say its awesome !! great job

  • @tafreshi90 Well, thanks for the compliment! i don´t approve of drugs though..

(nimms nicht persönlich, ich mag drogen halt nicht ^^)

  • @acuity1980 Ist ja auch kein Ding ;)

  • perfect played and people google is your friend just look for the notes

  • @aabbcc5631 thanks for the comment!

  • Un'espressività e un tocco delineati e profondi, complimenti!

  • @AntimaRome grazie mille :)

  • woaw very nice

  • @rudgel thank you :)

  • Just..... Amazing. You don't just play with any notable errors, but you feel the music, you play it just as the original piece :D I got the sheet today , hope i can learn it. But can someone help me? There are these really tiny notes on the sheet , and i don't know if they are played along the rest of the notes, by the way the first tiny note is on the third compass

  • @KiwiPianoPLays Heya! thank you very much for the compliment, i do my best :)

And don´t worry, the song is not the hardest to play. And those tiny notes are probably the E and B that in the original song repeat throughout the whole song. This can only be achieved by recording the song without those notes, play it back and play the E and B along. Or the other way around. You can´t play them at the same time. Einaudi also uses a sample in his live shows i think.

  • Very fine playing of this. I'm about to get the sheet music and learn it now :)

  • @wildchat thanks for the compliment and have fun learning it :)

  • I'm falling in love with this Piano Cover ! The Best !!!

  • @SweetBlondyyy Hi! thanks for the nice words :)

  • Beautiful. Got the sheet music today. Now I need to find a piano. I've listened to this about 30 times todaz. Can't get enough. Thank you so much!

  • @Uilebheist Wow that´s dedication =) getting sheet music before getting a piano ^^

thank you for watching and for the compliment :)

  • This is quickly becoming my most watched/listened to video on YouTube. The way you at it is incredible, and I could just keep listening; brilliant cover.

  • @MattxGee Well thank you tons!!

so it´s your fault this video already has about 15k views xD

but seriously, i appreciate your comment, like really!

  • This song it's magical, perfect composition'n and u played it more than well.

  • @Davidsonog thank you very much!

  • @acuity1980 Serious, nunca he visto alguin tocarla como hiza usted jamás. Congratulations.

  • @Davidsonog again thank you :) i really appreciate it!

  • im in the process of learning this song and your video is great reference material, so thanks !

  • @sarahbanban that is nice to know! do you want to post a vid response when you are able to play it?

  • @acuity1980 I'm also in the process of learning this song. Got the sheet today, and gonna have a go at it tonight.

Your performance is really great by the way!

Any tip that could help me in the learning process?

  • @1337Pinky good luck with learning it !

i can´t really give any tips, i feel so helpless when people ask me for tips =/ i only play o.o

i would like to say something useful but i can´t =/

  • @acuity1980 It's OK, I have the same problem when people ask me for tip on how to learn songs. Right now I can play the song from start to finish, bur have some polishing to do, like the speed and feeling and such :)

If I have time I might upload my version when I'm done with it.

  • love this song so much and you did it great!

  • @ThoughtsOfMoon thank you :)

i love that song, too. Still my favorite from Einaudi

  • If I just let my eyes closed I'd seriously think it was sir. Einaudi who played this.

  • @Claudiia1234 That´s the second comment like this today! compliment-overload :D thank you very much!

  • if i could have one single skill it would be to play the piano like that

  • @rafa281 thank you very much, i appreciate the compliment!!

  • @acuity1980 I actually use your version rather than the original, I find it better for some reason

  • @rafa281 wow, thanks!

  • Just amazing! This is no cover anymore, this is played by Ludovico Einaudi² .

  • @BassqontrollerzDJ O_O

    seriously, thanks a whole lot!!

  • Just BEAUTIFUL, you play it SO well, you can "feel" this piece :)

  • @kartythesecond thank you lots for the nice words :)

i´m glad that you like it

  • You, sir, are amazing!

  • @Thatmetaldude590 Well.. thanks for the compliment :D i highly appreciate it

  • Wonderful! Your version is very nice and convinced me to see the composer yesterday evening live at his solo concert in Cologne. Beautiful music and even if you improvised it sounds very good. Funny as he did the same yesterday - but who can play solo 90 minutes without any sheet of music? Very good.

  • @stho1975 Awesome!! you watched him live in cologne? i live in Olpe, only 60 km away from there, i knew he would be playing there, but meh.. i was still not fully recovered from my sickness last week. Sigh.. too bad i missed that opportunity =/

But i am flattered by the fact that i inspired you to watch him live.

  • @acuity1980 Yes it was really nice - and the Cologne Philharmonics building is quite well constructed. It allows to see and hear well from nearly all rows. Thanks again for your recording.

  • wow.. i'm speechless

  • @smokevalvula that´s flattering, thanks!

  • You are AMAZING! This is definitely the BEST VERSION I have ever heard on youtube! <3

  • @chapmmel wow thank you very much!!

  • So good! You did an awesome job playing. Is this a really hard song to learn because I really want to play it

  • @1bobo1 Hey thanks for the compliment! and i guess it depends. For example, for me it is a pretty easy piece to play. I didn´t need much time to learn it, almost side reading. But i play piano for almost all my life already so i am sure for others who just started playing it is harder to learn. But definetely not impossible.

  • Awesome performance! Is your piano digital? I could tell if it was...personally, I like the real pianos better for their sound but they are more expensive.

  • @tamerofhope thanks for the compliment! and yes, it´s a digital yamaha and personally i like it´s sound better than the sound of my acoustic piano. i guess it depends on the acoustic piano. No doubt, a digital one has nothing against a real concert grand.

At least with a digital piano you can achieve quite good recording audio quality without having to rack up several microphones :)

  • could you maybe do a video showing how to play it step by step?

  • @PumpkinQueenUSA buina ideaaa

  • @PumpkinQueenUSA i am sorry.. but i just don´t have the time =/

  • This is the next Ludovico piece I'll be learning, thanks for the inspiration.

Did you add a reverb onto this after the original performance ?

  • @omarv27 thanks for the comment :)

and i added reverb yes, but not after the original performance. i raised the reverb in the piano´s settings before recording.

  • I've got a few questions, real quick.

So how do you get all the pages up there? I can see you have them stacked side by side, but this thing is eleven pages long, and I have to stack them three deep on my piano. It gets really hard when I'm playing.

Also, at around a minute into the song, how do you get all the notes? I can only get 8 notes in my range and I can't hit that E.

  • @AsDarkFalls about the pages up there, that is easy.. the rest of them i tape to my wall xD seriously. i just attach them to the wall with a bit of duct tape, turning pages is just a hassle ^^

as for the second question, my hands are probably a bit bigger than yours. i can easily stretch from a C to the overnext E for example. i know that´s a problem with smaller hands =/

  • Damn, I wish I could play piano this good!!

  • @IPOXstudios thank you for the compliment!

  • What kind of piano do you use?

  • @andrewmusic95 it´s a yamaha clavinova clp370

  • @acuity1980 It sounds really nice. Good job also, it sounds very clean(:

  • @andrewmusic95 thank you very much =)

  • Heey,

    Superb video ;)!

Did you use just a camera to record this? :o

because the video is awesome quality aswell!

    +1like

  • @xXanimemusicmasterXx Hey thank you for the comment and the like :)

And no, i record audio and video seperately. My cellphone has HD quality, but the sound would be nothing like this if i recorded it with my phone ^^

So i record the audio with my laptop and later merge audio and video in a video program.

  • You have an amazing amount of talent, and have encouraged me to become better at this, i played piano was gettin good at it then went onto drums and gutair lols im only 16 i think i started them all too early :)

  • @2bigbaps thank you for the compliment! and i started playing keyboard at the age of 6, moved over to organ, piano, church organ and then back to piano. i think there is no "too early". not even a "too late" imo :)

but i am flattered that i encouraged you to become better at playing piano :D

  • @TheSimanH about 7000 views later... the dislike arrived o.o

  • @acuity1980 but still, one dislike? thats nothing to complain about! great job : )

  • @sarahbanban yeah i know, but still, it´s there.. and a little bit bothering xDD

  • i envy your playing very much :) really love it :) <3

  • @HopelessSymphony thank you :) i appreciate it ^^

  • Absoloutley beautiful, I need to learn how to play piano, Any chance you could cover: Ludovico Einaudi - Divenire?

  • @ComicalMike Thank you very much! and yeah, i have the sheet music. there´s just too little time for me at the moment. much work. and so much other pieces i´d like to play. but i might play it some time.

  • Really very good. No mistakes, and most importantly, you captured the feeling and texture of the piece quite well. The quality of the sound is incredible as well. If I am not watching you playing it, I could easily mistake it for his recorded track. Outstanding job!

  • @Nkmerten Thank you very much for the nice comment!

I am glad that you set the preference to the fact that i captured the feeling of the song rather than it being without mistakes ^^

Of course it´s important to me as well that i don´t make mistakes, but the feeling is more important i think.

So thank you for the compliment!

  • @Nkmerten Thank you very much for the nice comment!

So thank you for the compliment!

  • wow so clear, my fingers are breaking when i try to play thise one...

  • @lioxait don´t worry. enough practice will get you there. maybe start out slow and increase tempo

  • I love this piece so much. It sounds amazing together with the violin, but you've done a wonderful job on it. I think being able to play the piano is so cool, and I so wish I could play. Please, keep up what you do.

  • @DjSplash0495 Thank you very much for the nice words! it really is cool.. playing the piano. but i wish i could play violin too ^^ i am planning to get me one some time and try it :)

but don´t worry... i won´t ever stop playing the piano

  • Superb! I really enjoyed listening to you play..thank you.

  • @svernond i am glad you enjoyed it :) thanks for listening and commenting!

  • very good quali, very well done! like the way u play it. beautiful *sigh*

  • @Susperna =) thank you so much for your nice comment ^_^

  • Awesome.

  • @Omgawdzbored thanks :D

  • not live record

  • @spHinXazOr wat meinste?

  • One of the best versions I've ever heard from a pianist, amazing work!!!!

  • @shaafdiesel07 well that´s a great compliment! thank you very much!!

  • Allerhöchsten Respekt! Wunderschön. Danke für diesen tollen Beitrag.

  • @Hey2000aKa Danke schön für den netten Kommentar :)

  • wow .. that was really really great :)

  • @Czechness thank you :)

  • i LOVE 02:33 so powerfull and amazing, what notes are u playing at that part? Thx! :D btw.... GREAT video, best player ive seen on youtube!

  • @thorhardstyle First of: thank you very much for the compliment!

Second: it´s actually very simple: it starts with an e-minor chord (left hand plays an octave of E´s, right hand plays, B, E, G)

next chord is a G-major. (left hand plays an octave of G´s, right hand plays B, D, G)

    then D-Major. (left hand octave of D´s, right hand A, D #F)

and an A-major. (left hand octave of A´s, right hand A, #C, E)

    i hope that helps ^^

  • Woah, absolutley amazing, great job. Best version iv'e heard. I'll be trying to learn it soon. do you have any advise you could give me on playing it so well? Everything I play lacks emotion and its really hard for me to get though a whole piece without making a mistake, my hands were not born to play the piano i do not think. Yet you have the hands of an angel :)

  • @dmkitsch Thanks for your comment :) i am happy to hear you consider this the best version :)

and i don´t really have any tips. i don´t know if someone can "learn" how to play with emotion. i just play how i feel. not just by sheet music. but i guess you should first be able to play the piece flawlessly, and then when you don´t have to worry about making mistakes anymore, add dynamics like varying the tempo, and the velocity with which you hit the keys. stuff like that.

    thank you again :)

  • @acuity1980 thank you very much for the help :)

  • @dmkitsch no problem! anytime ^^

  • a great song and well played,

    really good ...

  • @renovationem thank you :)

  • WOW that took my breath away, INSPIRING!

  • @smokevalvula thanks a lot! i apprecaite it!

  • U are wonderful..

Great interpretation=)) The best version=) Thanks for uploaded it bye see u

  • @forrestgump492 aaw thank you so much for your very nice comment :)

  • This entire album is great! This cover is pretty great too! :)

  • @wolfgangdwolfmeister thank you very much ! and i am sure i will cover some more of Einaudi´s pieces in the future ^.^

  • you are AMAZING !

  • @GEMINIANGEL19 thank you very much !

  • Trying to play this atm, any tips for the bit near the middle/end with all the triplets, I find it pretty hard to keep it going

  • @ShiftyStu95 hmm, i don´t have any good tips for that i am sorry. what exactly is your problem with them? does it feel like your stamina is exhausted like you just can´t keep going anymore or do your fingers get confused with what to play?

  • so so so so beautiful, how long did it take you to learn this?

  • @AdySkank thank you very much :)

and i didn´t really need to learn it actually. his pieces are mostly pretty easy to play. i think maybe a couple of play throughs and then i was ready and set to record ^^

    thank you again !

  • wow! this is just amazing!!! very well done!

  • @musicsound16 thank you very much :)

  • Incredible - just beautiful! Thank you for including a little history of how you came to play this piece as you did - most interesting! When we understand the artist, we appreciate the music that much more. You'll have to excuse my urge to post a comment on a number of your videos....it's hard not to spontaneously applaud. :)

  • @Roxann308 ooohh no, no need to apologize for your urge to comment :D comments mean so much to me! so please dont refrain from commenting :D

and again: it´s highly appreciated that you read my description and point out the things that are important :)

  • freakin amazing. i can play this song, but have a hard time keeping the beat throughout the whole thing. it still is so fun to play , and i could listen to it all day . great artist to listen to.

  • @pmarti99 thank you very much ! i was struggling though.. how to play it, because you know, i could have played it even steadier, with a sample playing throughout the whole piece with E B E B pattern like Einaudi does live. instead i decided to play it like this, a little unsteady, leaves me more room for dynamics and emotion.

my favorite part is 1:20 to 1:30 btw .. i am so glad he composed that part like this :D

i agree... very much fun to play this piece!

  • smooth as butter...

  • @dmisra10 thank you :D

  • einfach nur.....gott..das ist so herrlich...

  • @Woolfie1819 dankeeeee :)

  • TEACH ME :'(

    loooool

you play like an angel :)

    amazing!

  • @BikerChick46 lol xD

well, the song itself is very easy to play actually (at least if you already play piano ^^ do you play piano?)

what makes the song come alive is pouring your heart and passion into it :)

this is as far as my teachings skills go haha xD i´d suck as a teacher. but thank you for the nice compliment !
