@KLUNKET Yes, Shel have written so mush wonderful songs for diffrent artist, most for Dr Hook I think. Dennis Loccoriere, who also write this one with Shel is one of the 2 boys in DR Hook. (The woice of Dr Hook)
The 90's were awesome weren't they? George Jones voice was at its BEST, Waylon Jennings was alive and still touring, Johnny Cash was alive and still touring, gas was 1.15 a gallon, cigarettes were 1.25 a pack for name brand, and milk was less than 2 bucks a gallon. The Twin Towers were still standing, and our biggest problems seemed silly in comparison today. Wish we could go back.
@KLUNKET i kinda thought the 90s sucked....the 70s and 80s were the place to be....specially the late half of the 70s and early half of the 80s......in 79 80 i was sitting on the floor with my record player with a 78 sized waylon album..
@1IIIIIIIIII1 -I also enjoyed the 70's and 80's, and at the time I thought the 90's sucked too (lol)- it is only upon reflection that I see it was pretty darn good in comparison to today
@KLUNKET yeah, even with all the hard times i go back to the 70s and 80s and even the 90s...anything is better than what we have today......and its going to only get worse as far as polictics and culture and economics goes.
I'd love one of those Cowboy hats!
