Pacu tend to be more circular, yours has a much more triangular head than most pacu. Also, the fins look to be disproportional to the body, especially the caudal and anal fins. btw blacks & red bellies have the same general body shape, the main difference b/twn the two is their adult sizes and color.

red ear sliders need a land area to bask and they love to take chunks of flesh off fish. fly river turtles live entierly in water and are vegetarians, much better choice. awsome tank the fish are in perfect condition, fantastic job.
