I didn't like Eccleston at first, but he grew on me and by the end of his season I wanted him to stick around longer, although I guess I'm glad he left too because if he hadn't David might never have become the Doctor.

Eccleston would pick up the computer and build stuff or pick up a gun and fight. then davids doctor got high and mighty and yelled alot and used his screwdriver to do everything. It got out of control. I love the matt smith series now. Its half and half.

I was sad to see Eccleston go at the end of season 1. He introduced me to the character of The Doctor and did a great job in the role. That said, I loved Tennant just a tad more. He was brilliant.
