It pains me to see someone missing so many coins in level 1-4. The whole point of that level is to unlock the white mushroom house, which you can't get unless you get as many coins as possible.

Haha, shafted on your third card. I used to find that rather obnoxious. You almost always get a star card if you are running at full speed but on occasion, you get stuck with a mushroom.

I have the gameboy version, and the nes version of this game, and I would say that the All-Stars version is a mix of the two.

I love this version, regardless. It's the one I grew up on and I miss playing it so much:( I really wish that, for just one day, I could go back in time to when I was 5-6 years old and play this and all of my other fun games. Sit around and watch the original Nickelodeon, not worry about college papers or relationship problems or anything like that.

I would. I own SMB and SMB3 on the VC but to have All-Stars on the VC would be a different story. They should have it at least around 1000 Wii Points.

Welcome. Remember the most important thing... Graphics don't make a good game. Gameplay does and it always has over the years. If a game has good graphics and addicting gameplay, then its onsidered to be a good game.
