  • Man Ive got an XBOX, Blu ray, surround sound, foxtel and a PVR. This thing fucking rox cheaper on Ebay around $120 Au

  • I bought one. It is the best.

  • I have one of these and its by far the best, easy to use, great facilities, easy to program

  • i got a harmony 880 for $20.

  • What's this all aboot?

  • $250 ?! You can download an app and buy the small adapter that comes with it for $10

  • i'm tired of pushign buttons

  • why would I pay $250 to replace like 3 remotes?

  • @mild546 amazoo (unohoo) has knocked almost $90 off the price.

  • wow it actually programs it by itself, that means no more strugglin tryin to find out which dam number my tv has

  • Stay single = pussy forever!

  • Could I use this remote to turn 9 tvs on at the same time? Really would like to know if you could, don't ask me why :)

  • do the less expensive remotes also turn on your devices, and set the correct input, etc like video 1,2,3 etc

  • It's true, the Harmony is a wife-approved device.

  • one remote to rule them all

    - notice LOTR in the background

  • Be ready Asian women online #lushfmlk.info#

  • 249 for a remote naa you must be seriously high i can put just a few buck more and i can buy a xbox damn i can even buy a wii with that and i even have like 50 bucks LEFT seriously 249 for a remote NIGGA PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • @Carlosmashiado You need a job bruh

  • Did he say "future proof" at 2:03? Well maybe Mr. Ashish can tell me how to fix all the errors caused from the web-based software. The software is constantly updating via the web at start-up and as of yet no one at Logitech has been able to fix them! Right now my remote will not update due to Java script errors, this happens at 3% EVERY time I try to update the remote.

Barring the software, the remote does work well. I just can't add any devices until Logitech gets their software woes fixed.

  • Haha! 2:05 is like: Damn, it doesn't work!!!! Such a bull... oh.. did anyone see this?!

  • @tinu83 yeahhhhhhh

  • If you press volume up on the remote, does it put up the TV volume or the Amplfier volume?

  • You can program it to control whichever volume you want, so if u want it to control amp volume while watching tv, it can!

  • yes it works widt PS 3, and Wii,360 and all the odder thinks

  • It cant work on the ps3, its bluetooth, but it will work on the others

  • It works on PS3, theer is a bluetooth adaptater...

  • @asasin29892 dude ya it does for me

  • it supports the PS3 only with the Logitech PS3 adapter, i use it, and it works very well with the PS3!

    it transfers:

    infrared ----to-------> bluthooth

  • Does this work with a ps3 though??

  • There is an Adapter fo the ps3! because PS 3 remotes are bluetooth and the logitech harmony one only offers IR...

  • You need an IR-to-Bluetooth adapter. There are some cheap ones that support most PS3 commands but the only one that supports all functions is the adapter made by Logitech which is ~$50 as of today

Honestly still a ridiculously awesome remote for the price

  • Unfortunately this is not achieved with the factory setting of the remote, but can be achieved by fine tune the workings of your system.

All in all I cant imagine not to use my Logitech remote, because It's a lot easier to use when it's set up correctly.

Just be patient and think about how you want your system to work, because this remote can do it for you.

  • My Sony TV (KDL-46W5500) has several AV/hdmi ports but only one button, so you have to either press the same several times, or select the right input from a menu system.

With the Logitech it's possible to choose a single input channel with just one instruction.

That means it's faster, and a lot faster when the remote is turning on several other things at the same time.

  • This remote as with all Logitech's remotes, can be a bit fiddly to set up, but in the end if you take your time, and use a bit of intelligence the time spend is well worth the effort.

This is the second remote from Logitech I've bought, and the result is actually better than what my current TV remote is capable of.

  • logitech makes quality UIs

  • awesome

  • oh, and the dude in this commercial really needs to check his morals for the shit he's peddling

    :)

avoid avoid avoid !!!! AND I KNOW WHAT I'M DOING !

  • let me say this - i am a geek. always have been. i love my gadgets. i'm apt at using them.

this remote nearly ended up through the window. it is NOT user friendly unless you are adding one controller. try adding another and it goes tits up.

i spoke to a friend at work about me having a logitech and he also had one - in the drawer, he gave up.

The software is shite. having to create an account is bizarre to say the least. the software to download is 65 meg and it can all reside pc side but oh no

  • Lol, I'd say youre just a noob. Yes it will take its time to programm it, but once its working its really really fine. Also the Logitech Support is really good, you can write them your problem and they will help you very soon. If you have a device which is not working, they will programm it for you.

  • I'm watching DVD with a DVD Player, a TV, a Receiver and a Subwoofer. Yes it took me more than one hour to programm everything right, but now i dont want to miss it as i only have to press one button (in order of many buttons on four remotes!)

  • MORE THAN AN HOUR?

    noob

    :)

  • For the complete remote programming, not only this activity :)

  • they need to seriously improve the software. it needs to be pure gui with drag and drop.

i'm sure i will get flamed by someone saying "you're dumb, i set mine up easily you must know nothing" to those that say that i say 'bollocks, you are talking utter rubbish' you can set up a ps3 and a tv ok'ish but try to add more advanced features it will do your head in.

anyone, don't take my word for it buy this piece of crud then come back and agree with me

the developers need a proper good slapping.

  • i got one to replace 7 count 7 remotes and now one touch activites its a lifesaver

  • I know why it's a marriage saver... because it increases the WAF of your home theater system.

    WAF = Wife Acceptance Factor

If your wife has to push a bunch of buttons on a pile of remotes just to watch a little TV, she won't ever appreciate all the awesome equipment you worked so hard to buy and assemble. Put a Logitech Harmony One in her hand and she'll probably let you buy that killer new a/v receiver you've had your eye on for so long.

  • Hmmm, he never explained why it was a marriage saviour... After all that was his reasoning for the hefty price. Dodgy advertising.

  • fucking marriage ruiner

    the piece of shit remote

  • he likes a hobbit, lol

  • ive used 2 Philips pronto's in the past. they are very expensive. This harmony one, is cheap at 135euro and it works way better than

my pronto. I can highly recommend this product

    btw, good service aswell

  • After spending tens of hours getting NOWHERE programming a Harmony remote, this is just meaningless advertising, it is not a subjective "review" so don't be conned like I was.

Some products will not work at all with it, and the only hope is some other user has previously CORRECTLY programmed your devices, as any errors users make will be passed on from Logitech, rather like a virus! An unusual product, where LUCK, and other user's hard work is the only way you MIGHT get yours to work!

  • What if you have Comcast Digital Cable or Verizon PHIOS?

  • lol take it to school and use on the tv in the class room hehe

  • I need one! I don't want to use 4 different remotes for my home theater system!

  • I want one.

  • I have one it's not that good as it's presented°.°

  • thats awesome

  • Now this is something i need...
