okay so i have been an owner of my crabs for about two weeks now. i've got only two cause i wanted to see how well i would do with them and if i succeed i'd get more. but think they are happy. lilly has changed shell's three times now so i think that's good. my brother in law says yes but idk any advice for anything?

Hermit crabs aren't crabs when they are born, first they are a sort of worms and then a look alike insect and then a tiny hermitcrab, so this are no eggs. (they will not drown in water they live in water when they are worms but then they look up for the surface).

Not only that! They live in the ocean on plankton until they get big enough to live on land. Then they get washed up on shore.

if u get ocean water they will be fine for a while nut when they hatch and finish growing from eating planton you'll need very small shells for them.
