I would definitely either crank the violin or turn the music down just a little though, cause it's kinda hard to hear you.

Also, try experimenting with some pedals. Grab some distortion and wah and it'll completely vamp your playing to the next level.

Yes, I believe I was only using the four violin strings for this one. And I'm so sorry, but I don't have the sheet music for this song. I learned it by ear with the help of my old violin teacher.

@sonicnator It's the exact same thing as guitars. The electric violin uses pickups to transfer the sounds the strings make to an amp while the acoustic violin uses the body of the violin to make its sound. Electric violins were invented fairly recently, so the technology hasn't progressed very far yet. In my opinion, the loss of quality doesn't matter for rock and pop music since the acoustic violin has to use a pickup anyway.
